Ani Posted May 1, 2006 Posted May 1, 2006 Is the guy Big Sams secret son or something because great guy and everything but why the fcuk does he still play????? same with Nicky Hunt!!! i think it is down to sam picking his favourites who have next to no ability that we are in such a mess. you make a really good point.
MickyD Posted May 1, 2006 Posted May 1, 2006 I think you are in danger of believing all the crap spouted by supporters who wouldn't appreciate a decent player if he saw one!

Bridgey Posted May 1, 2006 Posted May 1, 2006 was he, do you know how long he is going to be out for ?
Traf Posted May 1, 2006 Posted May 1, 2006 It's got to be said, so I'll say it. Henrik Pedersen is an honest, hardworking dedicated professional. You don't read anything about him up to mischief in the papers. He's tries his best all the time. Will play anywhere required without having a tantrum. Has been out top goalscorer every season he's been here up to this one, where he hasn't featured regularly, and if selected it has mostly been at left-back. He's not a flair or glamour player and as such is an easy target, get off the fella's back and credit him for his large contribution to the recent Bolton Wanderers success story. Without his goals, we'd not only be a Coca-Cola side, we'd probably be in administration, since our current "manageable" debt would be untenable with crowds of 14,000 or even less.

MickyD Posted May 1, 2006 Posted May 1, 2006 Traf's sentiment also goes for Hunt. All the knockers he has, booing when he comes off the bench and stuff like that, are going to ruin a young lad's career. If it did, those who did the knocking from the stands will be the very ones saying "I remember it happening but it wasn't me it was everyone else."
Guest kempo Posted May 1, 2006 Posted May 1, 2006 Henrik puts in 100% of effort every match. He's a player who thinks and cares about the fans, which is rare. He proved this by sitting in the stands at Everton. Any another player would of sat in a box with the rest of the prawn sandwich brigade. As Traf pointed out without him we wouldn't be were we are now. So lay off the criticism.

Carlos Posted May 2, 2006 Posted May 2, 2006 We have a difference of opinion; on one hand some folk who have never played the game at any kind of level and on the other hand we have someone who played at a very high level, is a successful manager, a forerunner for the English job and recognised as a miracle worker. Let me have a think about this one...

Traf Posted May 2, 2006 Posted May 2, 2006 I wouldn't exactly say I worked miracles, but thanks anyway Carlos. Jesus loves you too.

[-X no i think its big sam who has got us where we are not pedersen. agree in recent season's he has done a job(not very well but he has) but to say his goals has got us where we are is complete rubbish. what is his goal's to game ratio when hes been up front?some of the sitter's hes missed have been shocking , most have been tap in's which is wot a forward should do (ex a couple of good 1's) this season his left back roll was ok(at the most) as cover but in the final third he has been utter shite, Queue wot about his west ham goal? if he is a top 6 team forward i'll plat shit wot do we pay him? because if its more than ??1000 i think hes stealing a living from my beloved bolton wanderers. agree no 1 should get on his back at the match we should be getting behind him (not like that kempo ) he's got a white shirt on. which brings me to hunt, cant see how you all think hes so bad. big big big Question name 3 mistakes that hes made which has lead directly to goals (west ham in cup doesn't count as i think that was more jussi) if hes that bad surely u'll answer it easy. at spurs he made 1 bad pass and people started calling him (which makes my blood boil) even the best players give the ball away. rant over
astley bridge Posted May 2, 2006 Posted May 2, 2006 and how can some of our fans call our players when there shit fans(if there is such a thing)

astley bridge Posted May 2, 2006 Posted May 2, 2006 good answer hes played over 100 games. hes that shit :^o you cant think of any never brought joey in to it so leave him out

Guest kempo Posted May 2, 2006 Posted May 2, 2006 agree no 1 should get on his back at the match we should be getting behind him (not like that kempo ) he's got a white shirt on. What have i done? I wouldn't call pedersen, see my above post. I even have his name printed on the back on my bwfc shirt. :-$
Traf Posted May 2, 2006 Posted May 2, 2006 Astley bridge, you want to talk about goals to games ratios do you? OK, let's go: Pedersen has been our top goalscorer in the last 3 seasons. FACT. Therefore, without delving into all the stats, I reckon it's a fair assumption he has one of the better goals to games ratios at the club. I'd expect it to beat Kevin Davies's, who doesn't attract any flak on here, and I'm not suggesting he should either.
