Guest Natasha Posted July 14, 2006 Posted July 14, 2006 Before you start getting your collective knickers in a twist, I???m only saying what everyone thinks. Being based in Bolton is stalling our progression. Not wishing to offend anyone who hasn???t followed me out of the Bolton ghetto, but Bolton is a dump. You know, I know it, and Hamann???s wife knows it. Do you really blame Hamann???s wife for refusing to live in Bolton when the majority of us left the town as soon as we legally could? And Hamann???s wife isn???t the only one. Time after time teams like Portsmouth, West Ham and Celtic have hi-jacked our transfers because they can all offer players and their families something BWFC can???t ??? a Bolton-free place to live. I???ve posted before about the benefits of moving the club up the M6 towards Cumbria. Not only would we get far bigger crowds, it???s also a beautiful part of the world that any footballer and his family would fall in love with. This isn???t a time for loyalty, if we want to progress we need to ditch any ties with the town of Bolton immediately.

jayjayoghani Posted July 14, 2006 Posted July 14, 2006 The area around the training ground is like Monte Carlo O:)

Do you know, it's right. I hate the view of the West Pennines I have from my bedroom window, all that green stuff and pointless hills! I'd love to live in one of the biggest Council Estates on the South Coast, or the East End London or even better, a lovely Scottish village like Glasgow! I like your thinking.....I'll pop off to the local estate agents and put my house on the market, not that anybody'd want it!
HomerJay Posted July 14, 2006 Posted July 14, 2006 middlesbrough dont really have this problem, thats a shithole villa dont really have this problem, thats a shithole but as far as im concerned the biggest dump in the country is london, and every cunting player wants to go there... therefore you are wrong AGAIN!
Guest Natasha Posted July 14, 2006 Posted July 14, 2006 You're right East Manchester and Anfield are SO nice after all Idiot You miss my point. Bolton is associated with being a shit-hole around the world. Those other places you mention are shit-holes also but don???t have the same stigma. In Brazil, apparently, the term for a council refuse dump is ???a Bolton???.
no balls Posted July 14, 2006 Posted July 14, 2006 We could change our name to Kendal Wanderers as well No, the Kendal Kakers! I like that!

There???s always one that has to get all sentimental. Well sir, being sentimental never won anyone the Champions League which will become a possibility if we can rid ourselves of the Bolton stigma. Bolton is just the place I was unlucky enough to be born in, I blame my parents.
stinkythefrog Posted July 14, 2006 Posted July 14, 2006 Hamnn was going to commute from the Wirrall so not sure your point regarding Mrs Hamann is valid. Also from where I live the scenery is beautiful and while there are some shit holes in Bolton there are also some lovely areas which I would think is true of most major towns / cities in the UK .

In Brazil, apparently, the term for a council refuse dump is ???a Bolton???. Very good tash! but if you actually too the time to look at bolton, bar farnworth, withins and a couple of other places its actually very nice and also has some of the most affluent areas of the north west!! Plus players can live in manc if they dont like bolton so you argument is one of your more pointless!
Sweep Posted July 14, 2006 Posted July 14, 2006 In Brazil, apparently, the term for a council refuse dump is ???a Bolton???. Now my Portugese isn't very good, but I would have thought it was more likely to be "Ponta da Recusa"...............so you're just making more stuff up and looking as silly as ever

Bolton is just the place I was unlucky enough to be born in, I blame my parents. So Big Sam's now called a stigma? And I thought you were happy in the Championship? You really should think these silly theories out a bit more before you come on here pontificating in such a pompous and offensive manner. Now go away and count your digits!
Sweep Posted July 14, 2006 Posted July 14, 2006 Out of interest, where abouts in "greenbelt" "national trust" Cumbria would be the best place to pitch a c30K seater stadium, that would be in keeping with it's surroundings and that would breeze through the relevant planning department?
Bigtoe Posted July 14, 2006 Posted July 14, 2006 Why does everyone keep replying to it? FFS. She aint real.
Guest Natasha Posted July 14, 2006 Posted July 14, 2006 If 12 years ago someone had come on here posting ???shite??? about leaving Burnden Park and moving to a new stadium in Horwich I???m sure they would have met with the same abuse I endure. Throughout history we visionaries have had to put up with this sort of carry-on. But we always have the last laugh.

Sweep Posted July 14, 2006 Posted July 14, 2006 it's a cross you have to carry I fear Natasha, in years to come people will look back and say "She was right you know, if only we had listened"
