Mounts Kipper Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 we now face sheffield on saturday, it is ??26 not bad for a premier league game IMO, it is an old fashioned ground with great atmosphere, a 1 hour journey from bolton, and a great place for a beer either going or coming back or both, yet we have sold only 1000 tickets, we are still 3rd in the premier league behind 2 teams who have spent about 1 billion on players, for those who went to blackburn and enjoyed it i say do your best to get to sheffield i think it could be just as enjoyable a day out, back the team they need our support after a couple of dodgy performances, see you all there.
BWFCOLINH58 Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 me and a lot of the walkden lads are going, but as of yet no tickets

leigh white Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 A decent day out Sheffield, used to stopover, travelling back on the train from, Mansfield, Chesterfield, Derby, Rotherham, Barnsley, favorite pub used to be the GLOBE, but its gone all plastic recently, still the Howard Arms is not a bad boozer.

colintoddsdiscopants Posted November 6, 2006 Posted November 6, 2006 i live in sheffield i'm hoping that it will be a good day as it should be, nearly everyone i have spoken to i know who are bolton fans say they are coming so i wouldn't be surprised if ticket sales go up,this week like somone said above ??26 is a good price to come here and its only 1 hr away should be no excuses, if you can find it head down eccleshall road best pubs are down there.

Exiled Girl Posted November 7, 2006 Posted November 7, 2006 whys that? are you sat next to harold? Not as far as I know, but I'm going to get up earlier than I do on a working day so as I need my beauty sleep I'll be catching up on it then. However, as I'm rubbish at catching trains, I may have to sleep the night on the station.
