Guest squidgy66 Posted January 14, 2007 Posted January 14, 2007 Heard the same from my source too! If it's true then good - it's been said before- he's another fortune waiting to happen
HR Posted January 14, 2007 Posted January 14, 2007 If it's true then good - it's been said before- he's another fortune waiting to happen wouldnt be suprised if it was all a rouse to get Blackburn bidding for him. Pug faced dingle pussy
Happy Wanderer Posted January 15, 2007 Posted January 15, 2007 I wouldn't be surprised if he did fail a medical with us. He failed with Blackburn last week after reports he was signing for them.
Piemon Posted January 15, 2007 Posted January 15, 2007 oh well. no doubt he will go back there http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...ity/6254879.stm
YATESY Posted January 15, 2007 Posted January 15, 2007 The news that Steven Reid is now out for the season has brought the Inbreds to the table. Dunn will probably welcome the chance to 'go-back-home', have a guaranteed first team place, European football and me amongst one-eyed hunch-backed fcuk ugly equals!
YATESY Posted January 15, 2007 Posted January 15, 2007 I thought that he had failed his medical. those ITK = NOT ITK
jayjayoghani Posted January 15, 2007 Posted January 15, 2007 http://www.thisisbolton.co.uk/mostpopular....itness_test.php SAM Allardyce revealed today how delays in getting medical tests carried out had frustrated his attempts to sign David Dunn over the weekend. As speculation grew that Dunn's former club, Blackburn Rovers, were trying to hi-jack the deal, the Wanderers boss said a scan, an essential element of the player's medical, had been held up until today. Allardyce still expects the deal, which could eventually cost Wanderers an estimated ??1.75 million, to be finalised early this week. But, with his history of back and hamstring injuries, the 27-year-old midfielder will not sign unless the Reebok backroom staff are satisfied his problems are behind him. Advertisement continued... "Unfortunately we could not get what we wanted over the weekend," the manager said. "Not even a football club. "We need a scan and nobody would give us the opportunity to do it on Saturday or Sunday, so we have to wait until today." Although Dunn has previously expressed an interest in returning to Blackburn, his hometown club where he made his name before a ??5.5m transfer to Birmingham City, his St Andrew's manager Steve Bruce made it clear last week that he was reluctant to do business with Rovers. "No way am I going to be hi-jacked, mollycoddled or hoodwinked into anything that is just going to suit David Dunn," Bruce said. Looks like we may be the only ones willing to pay ??1m.
no balls Posted January 15, 2007 Posted January 15, 2007 Well, I always thought Steve Bruce seemed an honest guy so with his character assasination it appears Mr. Dunn may indeed be a cock. This may sound tactically naive but if someone doesn't want to come to us then really do we want him?
top_boy_84 Posted January 15, 2007 Posted January 15, 2007 Well, I always thought Steve Bruce seemed an honest guy so with his character assasination it appears Mr. Dunn may indeed be a cock. This may sound tactically naive but if someone doesn't want to come to us then really do we want him? Nope, which is why I was happy when Benayoun went to West Ham and Prso went to Rangers. If their heart's not in it they can fook off, IMHO.

Now that is certainly imho not a glowing reference to his character.
HomerJay Posted January 15, 2007 Posted January 15, 2007 bruce: bolton have offered 1.75m so you will speak to them dunn: what about rovers bid. bruce: they only want you on loan dunn: can i not do that? bruce: no, we want the cash dunn: ooor thats not fair. dunn trundles off to bolton for a medical, what a complete bastard he is....

No, just a childish cock. I'm sorry, I don't get your thinking. Birmingham see him as a commodity and so will want the most money for him. If he doesn't think he is a commodity then I'm afraid the poor boy is sadly disillusioned.
HomerJay Posted January 15, 2007 Posted January 15, 2007 fact is, steve bruce is not the greatest person to ask for a character reference of anyone...
Piemon Posted January 15, 2007 Posted January 15, 2007 fact is, steve bruce is not the greatest person to ask for a character reference of anyone... Bruce wants the money. And knows he will get it whatever he says about Dunn
HR Posted January 15, 2007 Posted January 15, 2007 fact is, steve bruce is not the greatest person to ask for a character reference of anyone... Maybe he is treading on the toes of a 'gentlemans agreement' between S B and Sam.
bwfcuk Posted January 15, 2007 Posted January 15, 2007 I heard Brum still owe us for Ngotty+Jaidi so we may have the upper hand. + Extra if and when they get promoted
Gonk Posted January 15, 2007 Posted January 15, 2007 I heard Brum still owe us for Ngotty+Jaidi so we may have the upper hand.+ Extra if and when they get promoted N'Gotty had already been released. Brum probably don't want to do business with the Dingles after the Lily Savage Fiasco
centuryold Posted January 16, 2007 Posted January 16, 2007 he didnt fail his medical however he is holding out for rovers to come in for him who are making a 3rd and final bid for him today as blackburns prices is twice what boltons is

Hopefully Jackburn will have to stump up more cash to buy Dunn, as I for one will be glad to see us miss out on him.
STAN Posted January 16, 2007 Posted January 16, 2007 dunn as passed a medical at bolton, according to sky sports news.
L/H White Posted January 16, 2007 Posted January 16, 2007 So, is the Dunn deal a done deal? According to sky sports news. He will sign later today.
