Happy to be proven wrong though

Not trying to pick on you personally but this certainly wouldn't be the first time that our fans have been wrong about Sam's signings!

Back when he was fit at blackburn he was getting about a goal nearly every 4 games which is pretty good.

His wikipedia article has already been updated! It's supposed to be an encyclopedia but it might as well be a news feed the speed things happen on it, says this at the end of his article

"In Janurary 2007, Bolton Wanderers boss Sam Allardyce revealed he had agreed a cut-price fee of ??1million with Birmingham for Dunn, but the move could fall through as Dunn has been troubled by back problems and could fail his medical."

Why? Do you think that Anelka's any good? Personally I'd have prefered that nice English boy, Andy Johnson! :p

If hes fit he might just be cover for, speedo and campo. Them two cant be playing every game now getting on a bit now.

For once you make a good point but as I remember Dunn is not a Speed or Campo style player.

A Blackburn fan at work describes Dunn like this:

Had a few tricks and was good on the ball...I guess he saw himself as Cristiano Ronaldo type player but without that actual top pace and quality!!

Had to quote it as I thought it was quite funny for an Inbred!!

Yeah, when i spoke to my inbred mate before he was gutted!Said WTF is he joining your sh.ithole of a club for i thought he was coming back ta Rovers,i said don't be silly why would he want another relegation fight at Jokeburn!

Biff's right.

Biff, have you been moonlighting for the Northern edition of Hello magazine? I think it may be called 'Alreet' or 'Howdo'.

Has he actually signed yet?

I thought that he was still in the process of.

If we do sign him then IMO it would be a good signing. It is a gamble because of his injury problems but for only ??1m then if the gamble comes off and he plays a lot then IMO we have got a very good player who will score many goals from midfield. If it doesn't come off and he carry's on to be injury prone then we have only wasted ??1m.

Talking about sick notes I think I saw that Fortune is injured AGAIN as he picked up a knock in training.

We have the next England captain on our hands now. A top quality player. Feck me, we've resurrected so many careers. Djorkaeff won back his world cup squad place after playing half a season for Bolton. Dunn is a good 'un, and we'll get him fighting fit.

I wasn't impressed with the signing of Kevin Davies all those years ago - but now he's a major player.

Dunny for England!

I think our midfield could be boosted by some creativity, I think at times Campo, Speed & Nolan struggle to create openings, Campo can do it from deep but if he is constantly pressured by the opposition he suffers.

Stelios has tried and failed, I think Tal looks ok but Sam obvioulsy doesn't, so all in all I think he could be a great signing who may create more openings for the front three, as he does have the ability to run with the ball and beat a player therefore creating space in other areas.

All this is obviously dependant on his glass back!!! ;)

I think if we get him it will be a major coup.

The backroom staff will get him fit and he is that box to box player we need plus he can split up any defence with through balls for Anelka to run onto and score.

Still worried we ain't been linked to any full backs yet.

As for Ben Haim, let him rot in the reserves for the rest of the season and then no one will want an unfit greedy c??nt
