Carlos Posted January 30, 2007 Posted January 30, 2007 Am I balls, saw them for ??5 at Blackburn when Come Home first came out, before Sit Down was re-released. I wasn't even aware they'd split up and it'll just be a greatest hits show, no Hymn From A Village or Chainmail.

Carlos Posted January 30, 2007 Posted January 30, 2007 Apparently there's loads of new material... Any band doing a load of new material is going to disappoint most people who want to hear songs they know, the Arena isn't the place for this gig. As they will have to play certain songs then this leaves little time for them to dig into their back catalogue. Balls to that!

As they will have to play certain songs then this leaves little time for them to dig into their back catalogue. Balls to that! I agree, I despise the arena, and the frankly anyone who's prepared to sit in the top section is either mad or related to a Sherpa. Why don't bands just do more smaller gigs? Greed or laziness is the answer to my rhetorical question. And we all want to hear the old stuff we can sing along to.
