misses lloyd and myself will be there, think this will be the 9th time we seen them but tim booth at the rncm will take some beating 400max venue, quality

 

that was a class gig - been hoping for another, but James will do!

 

not often you get the chance to see someone in a really small venue like that

Am I balls, saw them for ??5 at Blackburn when Come Home first came out, before Sit Down was re-released.

 

I wasn't even aware they'd split up and it'll just be a greatest hits show, no Hymn From A Village or Chainmail.

new album due soon, so possibly some new tracks, but more than likely a load of old hits

Any band doing a load of new material is going to disappoint most people who want to hear songs they know, the Arena isn't the place for this gig. As they will have to play certain songs then this leaves little time for them to dig into their back catalogue. Balls to that!

james always play a decent set, plenty out of back catalougue i will bet 50p that hymn for a village will be played as will johnny yen

I agree, I despise the arena, and the frankly anyone who's prepared to sit in the top section is either mad or related to a Sherpa. Why don't bands just do more smaller gigs? Greed or laziness is the answer to my rhetorical question.

And we all want to hear the old stuff we can sing along to.
