Im hoping for somewhere hot like Cyprus or summat, If the rain doesnt stop soon iam gonna have to buy a bloody dinghy

Tip top

But in fact its going to be Alma Ata of Khazakstan. I can feel it in my water; actually I can feel it in my solids as well

BA fly to there but I bet its not cheap. Mind you, cheap as chips once you get there I would assume.

F?cking hell, can't wait me

I see Honka Espoo are still going :good:

Maybe they'd play at HJK's Finnair Stadion if they reach the UEFA cup proper, I'm not sure? Honka only have a tiny ground that holds a couple of thousand or so, in Espoo next to Helsinki. Either way both stadiums are close to the centre of town, Finnair just a 15 minute walk and Honka a couple of train stops. Another local team, Allianssi, who played at Myyrm?ki not far from Helsinki-Vantaa airport had a decent little ground but I've just read that they've gone bankrupt. I saw Linfield and Maccabi Tel Aviv play HJK there in the Champions League about 3 years ago as the Finnair's artificial grass wasn't permitted at that time. Linfield's following of 300 or so seemed to have a great time there, I saw most of the team drinking with the fans in the bars after the game.

IBK Keflavik or KR Reykjavik would be good. Iceland is a fantastic place to visit. Great bars and clubs in the centre although i'd start saving now because the cheapest beer i could find was around ?5.00 per pint!

so how is it fantastic

seeing as the extent of the cultural development of yer typical wanderersways poster is to get as close as possible to alcohol induced suicide, i don't see how this fits the bill at all

Just pop round to Gudni's, i'm sure he'll be happy to buy us a few rounds!

If it's Helsinki, I'll be going via Estonia.

As will I.

I assume its why you wanna go but have you seen where Kazakhstan is on a map? Its fookin MILES away - not too far from Afghanistan.

Which got me thinking - where's the furthest trip possible assuming a team from that domestic league qualifies for Europe?

I think we have a winner :drinks:

Situated in the far east of the country, their location poses a significant problem for away teams. When playing FC Zenit Saint Petersburg at home, a trio of Zenit fans (Evgeny Stepanov, Aleksandr Zaraysky and Veronika Davidova) drove 15,000km across the country only for their 1980's Honda Civic to break down when in Vladivostok, thus unable to get home. These fans thus took the Trans-Siberian Railway back to Saint Petersburg, upon which the club rewarded them with a new car on October 1, 2006.

That is dedication, it must have taken them ages

15,000km? It's nothing compared to some folk who have to get a train from Bolton all the way to Horwich for every home game.

I'd rather get the Trans-Siberian Express than the train back from Horwich Parkway.

its only 7000 miles city to city

i can only guess veronika was driving

Think it's a bit premature for that meself.

All it takes is one team dropping down from Champions League 3rd Qual Rd with a higher seeding than Bolton.

Then we become team 26 and the 5 teams change.

And assuming an unexpected team qualifies lower than team 73 and keeps 40/41/56/57/73 in that position.

Basically shocks especially small ones (which is all it needs) happen.

It's going to be Aalborg, I can feel it. Just checked on t'Google Earth and its only 530 miles from Loughborough. I might drive.

i'd not be unhappy with that

you can pick me up on the m1

Rosenberg won 3-0 away last night in the CL qualifier

Bert had them to be in the Uefa, they almost certainly won't be....this would mean Red Star Belgrade would go up one place in the rankings and be replaced by FC Copenhagen.

Ajax lost 0-1 at home in the CL qualifier and could drop into the Uefa

and if they put rangers out?

as posted above, its really to early to speculate

isn't it?

What will be, will be.

Just wait for the draw !!

Red Star Belgrade would be belting. Not too expensive to get too either and cheap as chips! :drinks:

I'll remind you you said that when we come to visit you in hospital following your beating from a couple of dozen of Arkan's ex-paramilitary finest
