Given the amount of money washing around the PL at present and fees being as silly as they are, ?3m could be a tidy bit of business (if its accepted of course).

 

Bullard has the qualities that we are desperately short of at present. Granted he won't be a long-term solution but you'd get a good two years out of him, so long as his knee doesn't melt again.

Would be a good signing IMHO, a tidy player. Granted he had his knee injury but if there are no repeats of that I feel he will be a great asset to us.

Fantastic signing who can double up on the right side and centre mid.

Thats what I was thinking - either right mid or an advanced central midfield role. Would be a good signing for us.

 

However I do also think what Horwich says - Fulham have no need to sell him and I would think that he would be central to their plans this season, so can't see it happening.

I would be suprised if Fulham did sell him to us (as we are no doubt thought of as "relegation rivals" with them) - I thought he was in some sort of contract dispute with them, maybe he is trying to force the move, which we all know, generally ends up with the player getting his own way

id grow my hair again so it would look like his if he signed!

You are missing the point, some people post things that are speculation lifted from other sites, some people post facts.

Neither myself nor (managing director) Alistair Mackintosh have recently been contacted by any club regarding Jimmy Bullard... The only club I know that have made any contact, at least with myself, was Wigan - maybe five weeks ago.

 

I find it strange that Jimmy is being linked with moves in the press when no clubs are making offers for him.

 

It bothers me what's going on behind the scenes here, because certainly we aren't receiving any bids.

I did say maybe and of course, I myself am guilty of cutting and pasting a story which may or may not be true.

 

Am just for a bit of fairness and don't really want people to end up frightened of posting "what they heard in the pub" type stories as some turn out to be true and some false...

 

In the interest of a balanced viewpoint... it could of course be that those folk who post information which is ITK [ hush hush ] and the club don't really want to be public knowledge yet, are not really doing the club any favours? Whereas those who continue to circulate and regurgitate interesting [ but untrue ] tickle tackle may indeed be helping the club to do business in secret sneakily elsewhere?
