It's the right idea IMO. He is essentially what Joey-O was trying to be on Saturday, but a lot better.

 

Think they'll tell us to shove it. Especially seen as we have 'enough money to buy 10 players'.

Born 23/10/1978. So 29 going on 30.

 

We're not going to get our money back, and he has just come back from a serious injury. Good player though, and can certainly pass well and would give us another option at free kicks, isntead of Taylor just pile driving it all the time.

You are missing the point, some people post things that are speculation lifted from other sites, some people post facts.

got to trust the club to structure the deal right - ie protect themselves against any weakness in his knees or whatever he fcuked up

Decent player imo, and he'd be more productive than Joey O'B or Gavin Mc Cann.

Sometimes, when I'm reading your posts I can almost hear the polyester of your anorak making that horrid scratching noise as you type.

The guy is quality. I have always rated him and was very impressed how weel he came back at the end of last season. IMO he was one of the main reasons Fulham stayed up. He has the creativity to finish our midfield and with him Nolan and Muamba in the centre I think we would be very strong.

 

Also takes a belting free kick.

I'd have him for sure.

 

Certainly give us more quality from free kicks/dead ball situations.

 

Maybe he likes his fishing in the north west

Price is a bit steep for a player coming back after a nasty injury and 29 years old but he has been a very good Premier League player when fit

Balls into the box from Bullard on one side and from Taylor's left peg on the other side...

 

Works for me if as said previously the medical checks out

Very good player, he would improve any team, even if it was just for his attitude and personality.

We've paid ?3 million+ for a lot worse in the past.....
