Paint. Dry. Watching.

Undies bought a round :D

a clean sheet is good but we've got to be beating WBA at home.

Riga was good but we needed to win a game like that.

GM mentioned that, aswell as the Pole, their should be one more signing before close of window - please make it at least 3!

Will we be on 4 points at end of September? Hope not.

It's a solid start all in all. It has been an easy looking start that we could've made more of, but i'll always take points on the board over anything else. Like we showed last season, if you don't put points on the board and get cut adrift, you're fucked for the rest of the season.

And it was a fairly entertaining second half aswell. Two pen shouts, two offside goals, goal line controversy and the miss/save of the season.

Saw the replay of the 'handball' penalty claim . . . deffo a penalty. at least a foot and a half into the box.

Wife saw the foul on the tv things downstairs. . . . right on the line which, according to the rules, deffo a penalty.

There were also one or two pushes in their box in the first half which went unpunished. Short arsed bastard!

stop making things up

And it was warm and dry today.

before the game today i too was thinking we should be beating the likes of wba.

But I thought they were a decent side. very hard working and to be fair probably created the better chances of the game, the 2nd half was really good to watch. I think a draw was a fair result.

On the positve side.... a clean sheet.

shittu settled after a dodgy start, he obviously likes to get forward at set pieces, but is more of a stopper than a footballing cenre hale. AOB solid again.

Jussi at least 3 great saves. JLS and gardner worked well down the left.

Riga shows potential

Davies and nolan had decent games.

Muamba average i thought.

Stienson good again.

Poor from mccan, I cant really see him giving us much more. very bland

But what we really need is a creative midfielder Please meggo !!!!

Really? I thought he was sheite today

I thought Nolan had a decent game............and calling Muamba average is a huge overstatement. I'm not one for knocking players, but if Cohen had started and commited that many fouls and contributed that little there would be uproar. He was average at Newcastle, and well below average today, fingers crossed for better.

Nevermind, 3 points at Fulham and we'll be laughing

Not good enough today. 1st half was terrible. 2nd half was better but we just completly lack any ideas going forward and we look very, very shaky at the back. We are so lucky that Miller is a complete donkey or we could have had a hiding. No width, no movement. We are crying out for a creative midfield player. If we don't sign one this is going to be a re-run of last season.

Jussi at least 3 great saves.Past his best? Bollocks JLS and gardner worked well down the left. Agree, but I thought JLS was average at best today and I'm a fan of his

Riga shows potential Agree, and can take a decent set piece

Davies and nolan had decent games. Davies yes, but I thought Nolan was fairly poor today

Muamba average i thought. Agree, I thought he was very good in the 1st half, but poor in the second, still very impressed over all though

Stienson good again. Agreed, very consistent

Poor from mccan, I cant really see him giving us much more. very bland Agree, pissed me off today. We have Muamba to do his old job, and a lot better than him, there is now no need for McCann

Muggy

Hopefully with this polish lad in at Fulham in a fortnight we can score a few.

why Megson persisted with McCann when every pass more than 2 yards went to a yellow shirt. surely sticking on Dzemaili would've provided us with something else. He can't have been any more of a liabilty than McCann

We had pace a plenty up front for the first time ina ages and no fecker would give em a pass to utilise it.

At least Big Dan looks more solid after tuesdays farse.

at least I had a clear run back on the motorway - back for 7.30, which is unheard of. In fact the journey up was quick as well - which clearly means that trouble is brewing, as the M6 always gets its revenge in the end, the bastard.
