that will be 7 games, 4 points.

Is there any chance at all that he will go?

What are peoples thoughts?

We all know what we would like to happen, but will it? If it could guarantee him going i would gladly accept 3 defeats, 2 are fairly definate anyway.

My personal thoughts, towards BWFC are at a real low. There is nothing to even cling onto in my opinion and although i dont think we will go down i cant stomach paying good money to watch his brand of football. My next game will be Hull and after that i really dont know.

You dont mind "Winning ugly" like we used to do under BSA but we are "Losing ugly".

Well he sure won't resign.

And he won't be sacked after 7 games.

Maybe after 12 or so.

Just have to hope either that he soon lands himself a miracle injection of ideas & flair (tricky with the squad he's built) or that it's not too late in the season when he's replaced (and then we have to hope for a decent replacement after him & Lee).

Not surprised you're despondent.

the problem is, that even by some miracle (with any manager) we get 6 points out of Arsenal/Blackburn/Man Utd - the majority of people will still want Megson gone.

i thought the next 3 games are arsenal, scum then west ham? If they are i reckon we will get something off west ham because theyre shite as well and that will probably save him for a few more games unfortunatley.

West Ham shite? Unlike West Brom and Fulham?

For those games we were missing 3 key players who will probably all be back for West ham which will improve us enough for at least a point imo.

cant see the board sacking megson,it would b v embarrasing 4 them, the football we r playing at the moment is shocking.money should of been spent 2 on a flair player in the middle a striker with pace and prem experience.the board r just happy in the prem plodding on every year with no ambition think the club needs a takeover a clearout of all the money grabbing board members what have been there 4 years and an injection of proper money,we can bearly just pull 22 thousand fans in at the mo..not good

I think that's unfair.

I for one have been willing (and still am) to give him a chance.

We are coming close to a year in charge now though and on the field, there are no signs of improvement. On paper, maybe. On grass - no.

How much of a chance should he get in your opinion?

For me the excuses stop after ten games. It's a 1/4 of a season. If we are in the relegation zone, after spending all the money he's spent, he's failed. My priority is BWFC - not giving Gary Megson a chance. He's already had a golden opportunity with this job and the transfer kitty he's had.

No chance - Megson is here for years yet.

He could lose 10 on the bounce....and Tyler/Frank/Cassie would still be on here telling all & sundry that they don't know what they're talking about

If he did that then i'd want him out, but his worst crime this season is his depleated side lost 2-1 to a side thats already beaten arsenal this year

ditto

I for one am not blindly behind his continuing tenure, but I don't think he's done anything to deserve losing his job YET, and therefore will support him until he does.

you have moments when you talk sense

not many but id have thought you could see that deciding if a blokes up to the job when he hasn't been able to play his team is just bollocks

Northampton acceptable was it?

Combine that with a home point and an away defeat against fellow relegation candidates Fulham and WBA.

A defeat against a team in turmoil.

Thats 4 out of the 5 games so far this season covered, 80% of the games thus far have provided un-acceptably poor results.

Its not just the results either, its the manner of play.

News flash... no matter who the manager is... every team plays shite in the cup and gets giant-killed every now and again. Sack Ferguson when they got beat by york et all? It was a 'mare, move on.

Newcastle weren't in turmoil when we played them - first home game, off the back off a point at OT.

Manner of play - it's been shite for over 2 years mate, not just since Megson.

Megson hasn't played 'his' team yet, until he does for a few, I reserve my judgement

why are fulham relegation candidates?

They were 5th favourites to go down at beginning of the season.

That makes them a candidate in my language.

People seem to be thinking that theyre better than they really are just because they beat Arsenal.

Does nobody remember what happened last season?

I resent that comment :pardon:

I've not thought he was up to the job since he arrived....few decent games but certainly nothing that has changed my mind.

Problem is - who do you replace him with. I wouldn't touch Curbs with a extended barge-pole, even Sir Sam wouldn't get a look in....where's Glenn Roeder when you need him.....
