INXS. all their songs sound the same. Had misfortune of seeing them live at Wembley on same bill as Queen back in 86. They were dull.

another band who fall into that catagory is the stereophonics, apart from the 1st album they are dogshit.

Agreed. Loved Hot Fuss, bought Sam's Town and thought it was pants, didn't bother with the new album.

Before having seen them Live at donny last year i'd have agreed with you but they were possibly the best band i've ever seen live!

 

The beatles wrote the odd catchy tune but as for being the musical genii they're touted as i don't think so!

I've heard that about KISS, but having never seen them live I cant comment ... you could say the same thing about Priest, the albums are ok but live they are something else.
