I think any rumours of dressing room strife can be put to bed. The current squad looks more together as a team than any I've seen for a long time. Was it just a coincidence that Nobby was missing from the Dubai trip?

February 3, 200917 yr My source tells me that Nolan was shitstirring against Megson and that he was the main cause of the alleged unrest in the camp: just as he was a major player in the dressing room problems facing Sammy Lee.
February 3, 200917 yr My source tells me that Nolan was shitstirring against Megson and that he was the main cause of the alleged unrest in the camp: just as he was a major player in the dressing room problems facing Sammy Lee. I heard a similar story to that as well. A few of the players were pissed off with the way he walked around the club like he owned it and because he was captain he was automatically picked every game.
February 3, 200917 yr So, the squad went on a trip to Dubai that was actually more about team building than warm weather training. They left the disruptive influence behind to consider his future.
February 3, 200917 yr Sounds like sense guys - could sense the togetherness more on Saturday without him.
February 3, 200917 yr Sounds like sense guys - could sense the togetherness more on Saturday without him. something i once read that sticks with me (could of been Capello) was 'you know how well the team are getting on and how much they are playing for each other showing their desire to win when the team scores a goal and you see how many team mates run over to celebrate with the scorer etc . i think if you look at skd,s winner on saturday i,m sure most of the team are straight over there with him. you can all picture the scene in certain games when a team scores and the scorer gets a pat on the back from a couple of his team mates . anyway you know what i,m gettin at ( little.f.whitt & devon ignore this bit)

February 3, 200917 yr Is good to see the team so close together This reminded me of that ridiculous pre game hug that Spurs did on Saturday. I really never hope we resort to this. Not basing this on any facts but whenever I see this I fancy us to get a result.

TBH, I find it's generally from teams with problems that do this, tring to show a togethrness that isn't there so I wouldn't worry about it if I were you.

Not basing this on any facts but whenever I see this I fancy us to get a result. Seem to remember us doing it for every game Phil Brown took charge for as caretaker manager. We never lost under him either
