Still pinching myself after that one. Bizarre game. Chelsea appeared to have a crisis of confidence which seems strange after the midweek result they had. Basham and AOB scoring? One of the most ridiculous penalty awards I have seen.

Nearly a flashback in reverse to that game in the early 90s when we were 3 up at stamford bridge with 5 minutes to go our right back got injured and paul jones was forced to play there and the jammy bastards beat us 4-3, still sends a shiver down my spine that fateful day.

I wasn't born then but my dad tells me that we were 3-1 up (Gowling 2, Worthington pen) and managed to loose with 15mins to go. My dad also said it was the main game on the Sunday afternoon Highlights program. Good old Dad.

1978/79 : 3-0 up. Chelsea pulled one back with 17 mins to go, then the roof fell in. I woz there.
