Best Player To Have Faced The White

Not sure if there has been a thread on here before, but who is the best player you have seen to line up for the opposition?

For me it has to be Gullit or Hagi

I have enjoyed watching Fabiano, Gullit and Zola.

Eusebio.

Ribery (thrice) and Arshavin stood out in the UEFA.

And Swindon I think??

aye, scored header from a corner before one of burnden's finest comebacks

fer me, have seen a string of top notch performances against us at the Reebok from Gerrard

Henry/Ribery are the best two for me.

Another one for ribery, especially in munich.

Ribery

Giggs

Scholes

Have all taken us to the cleaners in recent years.

Theirry Henry funnily enough & without looking it up only scored one goal for Arsenal against us, the lowest he scored against any team with more than 3 season in the prem ( whilst he was at Arsenal of course ) Not denying he was & still is a world class player

'twas definately a bit of an own goal when Munich took Ribery off.

McManaman at Wembley in 95 was too good for us.

No, he was too good for Scott Green. Once we changed the defence we actually won the rest of the game 1-0!

Did we not play Inter Milan the other year at the Reebok there mustve been some half decent players out that day, im fecked If i remember though

Inter Milan was a pre-season game.

Sure Adriano had a decent game.

I remember Roy Keane at Notts Forest took us apart down at Burnden once.Always sticks in my mind.

Also Shearer at Blackburn.3-1 to them I think. He was immense that day.

But no-one has took the mickey like Ribery.

Dalglish is up there IMO. That's Kenny, not Kelly.

Wayne Jacobs.

He was great that afternoon.

Stan Collymore had some great games against us. Dogged us for years.

Pires always seemed to do well against us.

I seem to recall him having a good goal scoring record against us.

Cant be bothered looking though.

If the thread title had been best player I have seen step on to a Bolton pitch, I could have said Tostao, Gerson, Garrincha or Pel?.

As it is I'll say Roger Hunt.

Robbie Keane has always done well against us.

Alan Kelly in goal for Bury always seemed to produce saves of the season as well.

But my vote is Ribery.

You can also add Fowler (when at Liverpool) who all ways managed to find the back of the net when playing against us

Duncan Ferguson scored a hatrick of headers against us once at Everton - cant think of anybody else who's done that - must be a contender for best aerial threat

Think the baby faced scum bag did the same some years ago.01/02 maybe.

Fowler was always one to upset the apple cart, but has to be Gullit for me.

Best player during the dark days has to be Steve Bull for me.

Best overall: Ribery.

Meite...............Hang on

Robbie Fowler - didnt he score a hatrick for leeds too against us?
