Did Mr Hilter and Ron Vibbentrop, not to mention Mr McGoring stand in the Euro elections?

Thing is though, these controls are clearly rubbish and that's the problem which, imho, is making these people think BNP is an option.

Not really, Labour have released a new raft of proposals including in feb 2008 the points system, learning English, paying tax and becoming self sufficient and obeying the law. I believe they will also ask new migrants to pay into a fund to help manage the transitional costs associated with migration. The new eletronic borders will be in place in 2010, to provide acurate statstics about who is leaving the entering the country.

Also there are no controls to EU immigration as we are all part of the union.

I don't see any difference with these proposals and the conservatives - other than using the actual police on boarder patrols and I'm not sure where this extra staff come from. As for the BNP - repatration? I take it they want public services (and my local branch of Dominos) to collapse?

apparently the number of people who voted BNP hasn't risen it's just with such a low turn out their %age has increased.

the 2 main parties and the lib dems have no policies to speak of i couldn't tell you what they stood for, the BNP/UKIP/Greens on the other hand i could.

the main parties are seen as being the same with only the different coloured rosettes on their candidates to tell them apart.

Bolton council used to be lib dem, it's now labour and fook all has changed here behind the scenes only it's now the tories moaning about labour policies, when in reality they'd do things exactly the same way

With the European elections though it was slightly different. The Tories have a clear commitment to holding a referendum on the European Treaty whilst still being commited to being part of the European Community. They are also looking to form a separate political group within the EU with like minded, right of centre parties from other countries.

I think this was another reason for their success.

Proposals, and I think that's the problem. Too little too late for many. I'd also be interested in any new laws regarding the marrying a foreign national from outside the EU.

THE EU issue is a problem for me since so many countries joined. The EU is no longer a group of like countries. I'd like to think the standard of life in this country, on the whole, is much higher than some of the new entrants. To over simplify my thinking, and please tell me if I'm wrong; Herman the German or Lucky Pierre, the French bloke quotes for a job, he'd probably be the same ballpark as Joe Bloggs from Burnley. Now, Igor from Romania is going to charge loads less as his lads are willing to live on site, don't have a family over here & generally aren't used to the same lifestyle as 'Western Europeans'. I see a lack of parity there.

Not according to William Hague yesterday who clearly stated that there wouldn't be a National Referendum - not like politicians and parties to change their mind eh?

Is that what he said, though?

I have not heard his quote yesterday but it seems quite clear to me.

BNP stuck a leaflet through my door stating that if I voted for them, the government would ensure that no asylum seekers are sent to Widnes

I would imagine that as 99% of Widnes folk aren't used to foreigners, his would have been enough to get them lots of votes

This is it you see, the Tories are going to win the next election with a mssive majority that will probably secure them the elction after that too, so they can say whatever they want. The pressure is not on them to deliver. They are going to be a disaster.

I didnt vote because they are all as bad as each other for various reasons.

However, to those who slate the BNP, why not spend that potical energy in realising that there are genuine concerns among a significant %age of the British public and stop taking them for a set of cunts?

Pointing to the nazis and saying 'no nay never' isn't a solution. It's a cop out.

Yep. Repeating the 'but they're nazis' line isn't enough. A sudden increase in racism isn't to blame, and surely being their identity stuff is ignored by all, no-one genuinely believes that being white is a key facet of Britishness. The mainstream parties are gong to have to have a very high profile look at immigration, Islamic lunatics and the like. The BNP are made of stupid people and know exactly how to talkj to the stupid people willing to vote for them. When aid lunatics are not arrested at protests for carrying murderous slogans, the govt needs to condemn the police as widely and as publicly as possible. And the media need to give thm a much harder time, Griffin claiming the holocaust never happened has only been glossed over. Plenty ammunition with this Brons fucker who got in, formerly of something called the National Socialist Movement. Push them on it and give the public the truth so they can make an informed judgement. And stop inviting Griffin, he's spect years with two faces - privately the neo nazi who gains funds from the US and Europe by standard extremist drivel, then appearing as the moderate politician on Newsnight. He switches between them in the space of a sentence. Get some other BNP people on who aren't quite so mentally agile, shall we say.

But they're still very very far from being mainstream as is the case in Holland or Austria.

And let's not fail to point the rightful finger of blame at the Daily Express and Mail, who single handedly have created the immigrant bogey man, then claim they're not allowed to discuss the issue!! They're as responsible for it as self-hating Labour pricks who've done nothing to oppose Islamic lunatics in the country.

Ah f?ck it. I'm going to live in rural Canada.

Who had in their manifesto 'Be prepared to work or fuck off and starve'?

Thats who I want to vote for.

1984 was completed 60 years ago today

Just to clarify, I was referring to the amounts of money rather than the acts to be honest, it seems the Tories have got more extravagant tastes than the Labour thieves! :D

Labour claim on average ?6K per MP more than Tories - Lib Dems claim 11K more.

Same with Council Tax - significantly lower in consistently Tory areas. People love to claim they're all the same, and ignore the evidence.

Of the 10 highest expenses claims in 2007/8, 8 were Labour. Of the 10 lowest, 9 were Tory.

Far more Tory zillionaires though to whom the kind of sums that were claimed for wouldn't even be a drop in the ocean to. I really don't think the expenses thing is a party political issue at all.

Thing is, you said the word average. I am referring to voters seeing what is going on in the papers. They see Labour and Tories taking the piss but the Tories taking the piss with things that your average voter wouldn't be able to have. Moats and sucklike are damn good headliners! This is the gist of what I am saying.

I have to say, as an intelligent girl who doesn't get my knowledge from the Sun, yes a hell of a lot of them are the same. It's a shame really as what was the bastion of democracy has become a pit of self regulating greedy bastards.

What's the biggest shame is, that this could be one of the major reasons folk have voted BNP.

Some expenses, for instance travelling expenses are justified.

Most Tories are in the South East, close to London.

ALSO THERE ARE NO CONTROLS ON IMMIGRATION AS WE ARE ALL PART OF THE E.U.

I could be mistaken but I thought that when the last lot of Eastern European backwaters joined I thought that most of the E.U. states who where already members chose to limit migrants from the newbies and Britain was one of only a couple to maintain no control.

Hardly surprising news is it, they were pretty close to getting these seats in 2004, only a couple of extra % has got them in. There's been suicide bombers on the tube and about a million poles come over since then...

Limits have been in place and still are on Bulgarians and Romanians since their EU membership in 2007.

After analysing the votes in Greater Manchester the number of people voting BNP has actually gone down but the absence of Labour voters has meant that they have a greater percentage of the vote hence the winning of the seat.

I think only 31% of voters bothered to turn out so it was apathy that allowed the BNP in rather than an increase in popularity.

& proportional representation. They'll need to win a seat outright in the General Election.

NigNog: Silly Person.

Not an abusive or racial term. This is an old expression used in the North West to express mild disapproval of someone's actions.

As in: "Tha cawn't even spell thi own name -th'art a bluddy nig nog"

The BNP hate silly people?
