Ching Chong Chinaman looks like a good nippy player.

I could be tempted to pay money to watch him.

:good:

Proud of our boys today best perfomance of the season for me =D>

LOVE IT,white army :yahoo:

well im gutted.

i thought the game was poor for the most part, with a few splatterings of decent passing.

poor defending for all the goals, davies looked tired and lacked effort for me though a brave header for his goal. muamba had his worst game of the season. lee should of done better on a couple of occasions.

spurs were REALLY shite, but they still managed 2 goals. we gave them FAR too much space in midfield and crouch was a problem all game.

it bemuses me why people think just because we completed more passes than usual, attempted a couple of backheels and scored a couple of goals, that we played well?

i'd have taken a draw before the match, but leading after twice we should have won.

give me a scrappy, long ball 1-0 win every day of the week.

FFS Homer,if you didn't find that game entertaining maybe you'd be better watching ice hockey or summat. Spurs are a wanabe top 4 side, and i thought we shaded the game and at times cut through them like butter - surely we've made progress? :pardon:

FFS Homer, I honestly thought you muched prozac for fun before now.

If you didn't enjoy that game, despite not winning the 3 points, you're obviously fishing.

I've not seen us play like that for a long time, some of the attacking football was outstanding...

Chung looks shit hot, just what we needed

Some of the flicks, tricks and backheels from Lee today was something we have not seen in a while. Outrageous back heel for our 2nd and a nice volley that led to Bibi's goal

Good performance and an entertaining 2-2.

This season we are having problems with corners, if we are going to have 11 men defending a corner we really need to make sure we don't lose our markers and give space in the box.

Steinsson needs to be brought back, Ricketts is not as good as him and cost us today.

Davies played very well, our 2nd goal was fantastic.

but he did put in a great ball across field for the second goal - steinsson's positioning isnt the best at left back either

Wrong about Muamba - superb without being showy. The main reason that Spurs didn't play well.

Not in my opinion. And i didnt think Spurs played that bad, they had plenty of chances to score. Crouch especially should have bagged a few.

Right Bolton have 6''6 defender and Spurs had a 6''7 striker. Blaming Ricketts for not winning the header is piss poor. IMHO It should have been a Knight against Crouch affair. First half YES as some of you have stated entertaining. Second half not the best.

Cohen best player on the pitch!

Lee played well again coming from a FC Seoul side then playing in the biggest league in the world(as some say). Is a huge step up.

Gavin McCann isnt good enough.

Centre backs should not be dragged around the pitch by any player.

Excellent game. Well done to the lads and credit to Gary Megson for the tactics and players he picked.

Redknapp's post match BBC interview when questioned about his future:

"I love it here"

Nice one 'arry. They've never won 'here'

Good point...thought the lads played better...but we still need someone up front to partner Davies...lost count of how many times he won the headers but his knock down's went straight to a spurs player.

A few more added points. Thought Muamba was non existant, thought Ricketts played poor, was poor defending on a whole for the goals. Chong Young looked promising in the first half but tired quickly in the second. I still dont think Cohen does enough in the match. Even though Jussi spilled the effort from Defoe i thought his save from the rebound was excellent.

People can give stick to Crouch but i'd love him in a Wanderers shirt, has got great control for such a tall player.

Even though he's scored goals i'd take Cohen out the side and put Klasnic up front because, just so there's someone there to get the ball from Davies's knock downs.

Overall one of the better performances this season but still a lot of room for improvement.

Amazing how 2 people can have such a differing opinion of the same game.

I thought Taylor and Lee playing off Davies worked well and can see this being adopted in future matches. I thought Muamba did what he does best, breaking play up and setting up the attacks from deep, especially in the first half. If that is an example of Lee tiring quickly in the 2nd half I will take more of that every week! And as for your negative comments on Cohen, well I really am beginning to feel I was at a different game to you.

Thoroughly enjoyed the last 2 weeks.

Just goes to show we can play football and compete.

Considering all the media think spurs are going to be a top 4 side,

I thought we should have beaten them !!

Play like that at United and we have a chance.

Cannot grumble at all at yesterdays efforts, more of the same please :good:

Based on yesterdays performance that is utter shite.

Muamba had a decent game.

Cohen is our player of the season so far.

IMO Both Ricketts and Zat Knight are not the best and will cause us problems - Knight is probably just slightly better than the other two central defenders we have but I prefer Stiennson; also agree with McCann not being good enough but he is ok as back up when we need someone to put a foot in.

Very encouraging with the change in style of play and Chung and Cohen putting in good performances. Cant understand anyone having a go at Muamba because the guy has been outstanding this season (every player miss places a pass now and then and he shouldn't be blamed for one now and then)

Cant wait for the united game; just hope we go at them

Come on you white men

PS Never thought I would ever say this but credit to Gary Megson for changing his ways and brightening the most of us up

I wish people would leave muamba alone , Hes in there to do the shit parts of the game , break up play , win tackles and stop team s from hitting us on the break . He wins it and then gives it to others to play there part Gardner , chung, Taylor .Every team needs a Muamba .He s still a young lad and has a lot to learn and im sure he will and become better and better with time .Yes some times his first touch goes missing and his distribution is poor but the other parts of his game he does well. I think the balance is good at the mo with skd up top but we also have the pace from Gardner and Chung who can get up and support but also can carry the ball and run at deffences and withCohen now breaking late its deffo looking good . Lets hope they can keep it up and Well done the white men :good:

Just my opinion like.

He had a decent game yesterday. But before yesterday's game other than being in the right place at the right time to score a couple of goals what else has he done. Nothing. Megson even commented on him saying he has to do more in a match other than one moment of magic.

People pay ?80 million for players who can produce moments of magic. Take him out the team and we would have 5 points less this season, apart from that hes done fuck all

Are you trying to compare him with Ronaldo

I didn't go yesterday but from the highlights it looks like having Gardner makes such a difference because of his pace and unpredictability. Cohen made some great runs and Lee has good touches which open up defences. Suddenly we have different options and not just lots of the same type of player, which is what I feared after the Sunderland game. Of course, I'm basing this on highlights, so if anyone can enlighten me further that'd be good

Where did i say that? Players who produce moments of magic get bought for up to ?80 million smackers, which part of that dont you understand? Players who produce moments of magic WIN football matches.

That is spot on, Spurs didnt know their arses from their elbows at times. There were so many runners from midfield for a change, if we carry on playing like that we will win plenty games and even when we dont people will be chuffed with the performances. Great to see everybody smiling for a change yesterday :yahoo:

He got himself into those positions to score. Not only has he looked dangerous going forward he has also shown a willingness to track back and never pulls out of a challenge. Huge improvement on last years performances. Worth his place in the team based on recent games.

So you reckon Cohen's worth millions? Cohen doesnt do enough in a match in my opinion.
