their was an irish guy on talksport and he was saying henry should be banned, and that an irish player wouldnt of done that, what a load of crap if an irish player would of cheated to get the world cup they would of had a national holiday on his birthday!

 

well I for one clearly remember Richard Dunne doing it for City against us at their place in the last minute...

I'm finding it very hard to be sympathetic.... From my experience, Ireland is a Nation partly held together by it's misplaced collective loathing for the English.

 

I doubt they'd be shedding any tears for us if the same thing had gone on in one of our games (see previous Maradona comments).

 

As for Henry - if I could control a pass with my hand and then cross it to the scorer to enable England to qualify for the World Cup, it'd be a no brainer.

That was a shocker, got to feel for the players, they gave as good as they got over the 2 games. No team deserves to lose to a goal like that which is why video replays have got to be brought in.

Personally i prefer the French folk to the Oirish...........so it's no sympathy from me.

Don't normally tune in to Paddy Radio but today I listen to 252LW and it was geat listening to the phone-in's and such like - was almost like listeng to the English bleating. Amyway, one call they had summed up why a lot on here where glad that they got beat. This caller said that for 24years we've been laughing at the English for that 'hand of god' goal in Mexico, now it's come back to bit US on the hand.
