November 21, 200916 yr Anyone read the BEN? Allardyce saying how the whites didnt have the same ambition he had. Hope we beat them fuckers tomorrow? Not wanting to be too harsh on the big man whilst he's ill. but it's typical allardyce bullshit, the man doesn't know when to keep his gob shut. There will be some people who agree with him but generally they'll be the same ones who 'won't go whilst megson is in charge'. the problems at the the club stem from allardyce leaving us with an elderly squad and gutting the back room staff when he fecked off to newcastle

November 21, 200916 yr Anyone read the BEN? Allardyce saying how the whites didnt have the same ambition he had. Hope we beat them fuckers tomorrow? He is spot on, we should have backed him at the time. Its all about survival now.
November 21, 200916 yr This is why I don't like the bloke, he's a rent a quote. At least he's stopped refering to himself as Sam Allardyce in the third person.

A couple of things here; possibly Davies didn't have the money at the time & also, with the bung stuff, did that ever go away, did Davies ever trust him with his money? I certainly don't know and no one on here does, but it's just a thought to put out there.
November 21, 200916 yr He is spot on, we should have backed him at the time. Its all about survival now. 8.5 million for anelka? was that not backing?
November 21, 200916 yr 8.5 million for anelka? was that not backing? Yes it was to a point, But they could have built a great team around Anelka and gone on to greater things.
November 21, 200916 yr Yes it was to a point, But they could have built a great team around Anelkaand gone on to greater things. with what money?
November 21, 200916 yr with what money? The ?15 million that Megson was allowed to spend/waste on Elmander,Shittu and Muamba?
November 21, 200916 yr The ?15 million that Megson was allowed to spend/waste on Elmander,Shittu and Muamba? 5mil well spent IMO but that was 12 months after BSA left and finances (both more money coming in and access to loans from ED's companies) had obviously changed during that time
November 21, 200916 yr Yes it was to a point, But they could have built a great team around Anelkaand gone on to greater things. can we not go over this yet AGAIN?
November 21, 200916 yr The ?15 million that Megson was allowed to spend/waste on Elmander,Shittu and Muamba? And how did we raise that money?
November 21, 200916 yr And how did we raise that money? Didnt we stay up when Meggo took over therefore guranteeing a cetrain amount by remaining in the top flight, Oh yeh forgot Megosn took over form Allardyce
November 21, 200916 yr Didnt we stay up when Meggo took over therefore guranteeing a cetrain amount by remaining in the top flight, Oh yeh forgot Megosn took over form Allardyce I thought he took over from Sammy Lee.

Not being funny but if i were Big Sam i'd be bitter about Gary Megson getting money to spend when he was given feck all most of the time...
November 21, 200916 yr This is why I don't like the bloke, he's a rent a quote. At least he's stopped refering to himself as Sam Allardyce in the third person. If only... ?One never knows what will happen in the future. What happens to Sam Allardyce is based on how much success I can bring to Blackburn Rovers. ?In my own self belief as the years have gone by, I have always had the self belief to know I can manage anywhere in the world. Not a problem.
November 21, 200916 yr Not being funny but if i were Big Sam i'd be bitter about Gary Megson getting money to spend when he was given feck all most of the time... Doesn't that make him sound like a petulant child though? It's not like he's stuck on the dole in a bedsit due to being let go from the local mill is it?
November 21, 200916 yr He is spot on, we should have backed him at the time. Its all about survival now. i agree though its always been about survival there was a couple of years when we had a fine competitive side under him. He had earned the chance to spend some money. Would it have led to bigger and better things or gone pear shape? who knows! what I do firmly believe though is that he is a far better manager than Gary Megson.
November 21, 200916 yr Anyone read the BEN? Allardyce saying how the whites didnt have the same ambition he had. Hope we beat them fuckers tomorrow? He's right isn't he?

November 21, 200916 yr He got the finances at Newcastle and he then went and bought Alan Smith Thank god for small mercies.
November 21, 200916 yr does anyone on here think if we had spent ?15m that we would have got in top four ? you get an average top level defender for that. sam wanted enough money to make us a top four team, the club did nt have that money so he left.
