Round my way he was known as "Ten Touches", as that's what he'd take before even thinking about shooting.

 

This came to fruition once and once only, Wolves at home, we won 5-1 and I think he miskicked the ball into the net, despite wanting to take a couple more touches.

I remember being in Inverness in a bar (pre-season Scotland tour) and a bloke who was the spit of Owen Coyle was in there having a drink. Entire Wanderers following sang 'Owen Coyle...Owen Coyle...Owen Owen Coyle..' down the poor bugger's ear for what seemed like the entire night.

 

He took it well. Might have been Coyle for all we knew.
