I like that theres alot of opinions on what happened today, but id love to know how many people were actually in town today.

 

The EDL were just what i expected, a mixture of council estate chavs and middle aged skinheads, with there 15 year old stone island jackets on. the EDl were outnumbered to about 5/1, which just show that they wasnt wanted in Bolton.

 

Can someone tell me this. Why was there about 20 Huns in Astley Bridge this afternoon, who supposedly come down from Scotland. Didnt think they appriciated my GAA jersey.

Right fuck it I am not going to beat around the bush, at the end of the day I know why the majority of lads turned out today, its doesnt take many brain cells to work it out, but they are all proud of who they are and were they are from and before any pricks start to tell me right from wrong I have spent alot of my adult life living in shitholes like Iraq and i have many Muslim friends, all we are doing at the end of the day is trying to support OUR country and not let it be over run

Didn't go down for the march today but been watching and reading a lot on the internet.

 

I agree with most of what the EDL stand for but disagree with the way they go about it, gathering large mobs of known football hooligans doesn't look great does it? Today they did themselves proud the way they behaved compared to those on the UAF side of things. They didn't react to the barrage of abuse thrown at them and even backed off when the police were getting heavy handed.

 

2000 EDL, 9 arrests Vs. 1500 UAF, 60+ arrests.

 

I think the UAF have a very blinkered few and are not open to opinion and not willing to debate or even listen to any points of the EDL.

 

Don't know when the next march is but they seem but be gathering suppport fast and this effort in Bolton will make the media more understanding and get more people on their side no doubt.
