Exactly, & because there a enough who are like that is this country, & no party will stand up and say this is wrong the EDL, BNP etc support will increase.

I have no inclination to march or have tea with Nick Griffin, as I am well aware of the underlying difference I have with their views BUT by Christ I want the sort of people highlighted to either shape up or ship out!

Maybe becuase other than Latin now and again, and the odd bit of buggery, they tend to speak English and know how to use a knife and fork from an early age.

These images you see on TV are such a tiny minority that whilst they're worth keeping an eye on, they don't represent any threat to our values and way of life. I've got faith in the strength of our history and our sense of identity as a country.

i went to smihills many years ago and it was a very good school, these days it is a shit hole apparently, is that a result of being more asian kids there ? (i think there was 1 in my year) or the introduction of comprehensive schools ?

 

this must be the longest thread on wways history of people saying the same thing, it really pisses me off though if i state an opiion that muslims as a group are NOT a major threat to this country and that makes me a bed wetting liberal. I understand that a small minority of extreme muslims do pose a major threat but i refuse to tar all muslims with the same brush.

 

if we take the stance that all muslims are bad (and i am not say the edl do) then you end up pushing more people into the arms of the extremists and making the position a lot worse. I would rather look at ways to bridge the gaps to the majority of decent muslims. The EDL may claim they are trying to do this but a significant number of their supporters are nt.

 

my point is that we all know there are serious race issues dividing the country what we are disagreeign about is the best way to tackle these issues.
