Entourage Season 1 turned up, watched the whole thing back to backl last night, Quality!!!

 

only 8 episodes though, thankfully the later seasons are much longer.

Was the series Underbelly on over here? About Gangland Melbourne in the 80's and early 90's.

 

Gratuitous baps out action and violence over 12 hour long episodes. Not as cerebral as the Soprano's - but a good watch nonetheless!

Other than Lost (because the missus was into it) I've never seen any of the shows above

 

I've heard of most of them - and they all appear to be long running American drama-types - an hr long at a time...

 

This is not meant as any offence to anyone and it's a genuine question, but how the fuck do you find the time to watch all of them?? Do you not do owt else or do you not sleep?!

 

I watch an episode of something most nights, about 10pm before bedtime. Just working back through series 1 of The Sopranos, confirms it is the greatest show of all time.

 

Also watching series 3 of True Blood, slowly.

recently come across a gem of a program called its always sunny in philadelphia.

bloody holarious, IMDB gives it 9.5 and its on its 5th series.

its like a more blatantly funny curb your enthusiasm and its got danny devito in if from the second series onwards.

Not totally sold on the Curb comparisons, but it is sh1t your pants funny most of the time, excellent tv if you can get hold of it. Community starts on some Sky channel in the next couple of weeks (Viva I think) and that's another gem; Joel McHale and Chevy Chase, well worth checking out
