Site Supporter MickyD Posted September 1, 2010 Site Supporter Share Posted September 1, 2010 I think if, by increasing fines for pubs showing live games, that they stopped showing them, people would still find a reason not to bother going. Once you stop going you rarely go back no matter the excuse running out.
Happy Wanderer
The club, 188BET through this site offer free tickets to home games. We get a good response to the 'free tickets' yet I find it strange that there aren't hundreds entering the competition out of 2.5K members. The club are trying their best to get folk through the turnstiles. FFS we are giving away tickets yet folk still find an excuse when really there is no excuse. Excuses: I loved Burnden I hate the Reebok I work (fair enough) I have a family life (fair enough) Can't be arsed No atmosphere (neither has Arsenal but they get double+ our gate) Beers crap (now changed) Too expensive (no price increase for a few seasons)

But I have enough tickets already by virtue of getting my hard earned out prior to the season. Wouldn't my entering (and potentially winning a pair of tickets) deprive some other entrant the chance to get them?

quintopagogo
the club have done everything they can to get people back. Apart from slashing prices like Blackburn have which as Gartside admitted is one of two ways he thinks crowds would increase. ?65 for 3 matches isn't slashing prices...
