Might as well set the ball rolling.

    He's a cunt.

  • We started well and should have finished some of our chances. We got into some good areas early on but the final ball was usually poor. The defence was a shambles throughout the game, as was the non

  • ricketts was exposed cos they went 2 on 1 as lee doesn't work like taylor   once taylor went off they started working the other flank

I can't think of better, more creative, chance making, wonderful goal scoring 20 minutes from a Bolton side. If we played like that 20 minutes for the whole game, we would have smashed the highest win record. Blackpool were lucky there wasn't another 5 or 10 minutes left for us to get the winner.

Mark Davies is absolute quality, motm for us today.

A player running with the ball, especially through the middle, gets everyone off their seat.

We carried no passengers today, unlike you after the game ;)

Davies is one of the most comfortable players on the ball I have seen in a White shirt.

take it you heard then, not good.

but glad you agree about Davies, everyone's getting (quite rightly) carried away about Holden.

can we play them together without Muamba ?

i'd have my doubts

I heard.

What about Muamba & Davies & Holden with a winger swopping sides? I'm sounding like Diddles now.

Anyway Jeff Chandler was in our bit today, good bloke & the 20 something Mrs Chandler =D>

Lucky to get a point,i was wrong i thought we would smash um,fcuk um anyhow smack head scum cunts

i dont have any doubts at all ..if OC wants to win or bust in certain games thats the way forward . yis fellman

i didn't mean to say they can't play in the same team, i just meant as a straight swap for Muamba

are you suggesting Chandler instead of one of our wingers?

are you suggesting Chandler instead of one of our wingers?

No, me instead of Jeff Chandler with Mrs Chandler.

Steinsson and Petrov back in for me against City, Holden to replace M.Davies I reckon, M.Davies and Holden will be nice to see, but I don't see Coyle going for it especially away to City.

Why would you drop Taylor; our best player by a mile in the first half and apart from the goal and a lot of effort I thought Petrov was poor

Muamba had an off day today and it showed. Our worst player was SKD followed by Ricketts who did ok going forward in the last 10 mins

Great game though and another game which we showed character coming back

City next and week and depending on Spurs we will go in to 4th place again with a win - GET THERE

Did you watch the game last week ?

No. You have the advantage of that over me, but yesterday looked a yard off pace, good tho with accurate balls played to him. would think if Elmander goes in January will need someone with some pace up front to replace him.

Two fantastic goals from us; two stuffy set piece efforts from them.

If the tangerine tw?ts don't drop this season, certainties the following one. They'll be back to 5,000 attendances in the lower leagues before too long.

I see Petrov seems to be the whipping boy now. We've had Zat Knight, Elmander and now Petrov is the one being hounded after not being given time to settle in. When will folk learn?

Took his goal brilliantly and some other bits of great skill enough for me to give him a lot longer yet.

they will not go the way of Burnley this season.

Based on your 'England have lost the first test' assertion, forgive me for not giving this prediction much credence.

I dont care what anybody says but if Petrov didnt come on yesterday we wouldnt of got jack shit. Granted he hit the corner flag with a couple of shots :D but he drove us forward and his goal was pure class which i doubt many in our team could of scored. Overall i thought we played shit but in that last 20 mins we played well enough to score 5 and nearly won it. We arent going to play as well as we did against newacstle every week and i thought the players were a bit too complacent but we showed in that last 20 when the urgency is there we can really turn it on. City next week will be very interesting COYWM

ha...smugness suits you sir

Holloway has worked miracles with Blackpool. Promoted when they were favourites to be relegated and more than holding their own in the Prem. Anything could happen this season but i wouldn't be surprised in they stay up.

i thought the midfield was to open without holden.

m davies played well in the first 20 making good runs and passes but then went abit awol along with taylor

but came good when muamba left the field and we had more of an attacking attitude about us

ha...smugness suits you sir

Your genius needed highlighting ;)

Read the post and agree with most. Having had time to reflect on the game you could see the game plan was to work our full-backs to death and they did. Ricketts suffered as CYL doesn't help out enough, nice little player going forward but defence, nar. The whole back 4 didn't cope as a unit very well with the runners from wide and midfield.

Midfield missed Holden for his non-stop approach to the game and has previously mentioned this effected Muamba.

Too many players had off days which makes a difference, if you have one the others can cover but with SKD, CYL and Taylor out of the game for long periods it does effect the flow of the game.

Hats off to Blackpool for their game plan and certainly a massive gamble by OC which paid dividends throwing on the subs as he did. I know it's been said that Petrov played his part in the revival but don't discount Klasnic who looked up for it and very hungry. Was great to see him waving his arms around getting the crowd going, great passion and the final ball to little Davo to pass into the net, class.

I didn't begrudge them a point at all yesterday, thought they played some really good stuff whilst we weren't at the races early doors, but them subs made all the difference and hopefully them who were quick to judge petrov will realise having a player like that on the bench us no bad thing

Would still be inclined to play Taylor v city as we're away and he offers defensive options, clealy that's not Owens style so wouldn't be surprised to see him start either v city or Blackburn and I for one will welcome him back in the side that goal with no backlift was something special, not many of our lads could pull that one out the bag and freekick wasn't far off either

the lad i sit next to lives Blackpool way and his mates said their tactic all season has been pinging the ball over the full back to Varney.

It worked as Ricketts was left on his todd far too often

After a performance like that it would be very tough on M Davies to be dropped assuming Holden is fit next game. I'd play him on the right instead of LCY, who didnt do much yesterday.

like with petrov, i wouldn't be surprised if steinnson was back in v city

ricketts does get left exposed, but he does find himself out of position and making the wrong choices

good cross for that davies header, that would've been a great goal too

2-2

2-0 down at HT after massively underestimating them: Davies & Klasnic to score.

Not quite spot on, but near enough.

Got 16/1 for the 2-2 scoreline too! :yahoo:
