Store Wars In Eccles

Had to pay a cheque in today so had to nip to Eccles.

There's a pound shop near the bus station.

A few doors down, an 89p shop has opened.

The pound shop now has a 'first birthday sale' where everything is now reduced to 85p.

What the f?ck do these places sell?

Anybody ever been in?

I always shop in the next town to Bolton, it's not as mad as ours. It's usually more Sain-Burys :)

You can get some decent and cheap stuff for the house in there, plenty of home bargains :)

Kwik, save this thread before Happy deletes it

I cannot see this being a problem with Happy; Shopper threads are always good for a laugh.

Some of these jokes are that bad, I think they must have been stolen from Ivor the Bastard.

They're not as bad as Little whitt's achers!

Theres obviously a GAP in the market for these kinds of ventures

Could be worse,at first glance I read it as "Star Wars In Eccles"

Star Wars in Blackburn:

"Luke, I am your father. And your cousin. And your nephew. Oh and your brother in law, and your second uncle. And your first uncle. Step grand-dad; and er you remember that siamese twin you had removed when you were 3? That was me. And butch looking Auntie Doris? Yep, that was me too..."

Is that the one where Han Burys the stormtroopers ?

These threads are short-lived FADS anyway.

This thread is dedicated to Deb and Em.

I've had a New Look at it and I think it's really Going Places

My mate Richard's kids will think this thread is funny. I'll ring Dixons and daughters right away to tell them about it.

Is he a mate of John Lewis?
