Very pleased with this - especially if we can keep hold of Cahill till at least the end of the season while Wheater finds his feet. He's a player in the Cahill/Shawcross bracket anyway from what I've heard. At less than we paid for either of our current centre halves it sounds like a steal.

No Gaz, you initally claimed he's signed, which he hadn't. It took fucking ages so I'm guessing he was nowhere near actually signing, if that equals a "done deal" in your head then so be it.

Everything had been agreed apart from the fee in which we were paying to Boro. Boro wanted X amount and we wanted to pay Y amount. The compromise took longer than it should have, which is why it was such a drawn out affair.

 

At the end of the day, he's now a Wanderer and therefore my statement was correct.

 

P.S. My ITK status has now shot up to an astronomical 95%
