Non League Chatter

A few weeks away yet, but this could be the biggest attendance Victory Park have had for many a year with it being a title cruncher. Come on Chester beat those Leigh stealing body-snatchers.

A date for your diaries, on Saturday 4th July Atherton Collieries will play Bolton Wanderers, Neil Lennon has said he will bring a good squad down

  • I'm very fair and even handed on this one. I hate both sets of cunts.

  • Said nobody ever

Needs to improve his goal kicks a little bit, but his feet are pretty quick considering the division is either gluepot mudbaths, bobbling minefields or 100mph artificial pitches. Again, aspects that he might not face at League One level, but doing him the power of good for his goalkeeping education. Rarely looks like he’s panicking when the ball is passed back to him and is becoming more commanding across his box.

His kicking is improving, especially his range, so much so I'm now standing behind our keeper coach who's on the half way line. At Lancaster I was in the middle of their warm up. 🙃

Yep, good job it isn't them we're playing, they would not be happy

The ginger pirlo (Haydock) thinks the game will be off. Pitch inspection anytime soon.

He signed a new contract with us last week to the end of the season so we hope Bolton don't want to nick him back

Or not, it seems! Maybe BWFC are lining up a nice higher up?

Luke has returned as BWFC 1st team no 2 keeper.

Tabs is back from city of liverpool.

Purps fans are not best pleased, scouse cnuts

Good news, pleased about that. Luke shows lots of promise. Wonder if he’ll get a chance in the 1st team now there are no cup games left?

A big game for Colls tonight V Ashton Utd managed by our ex manager Cleggy, carry on playing like we have been and there shouldn't be a problem

Up the Colls

We didn't. Hairdryer out again 😁

It was a poor performance after recent games but we go on next Saturday

always thought colls have done well to keep hold of gaz peet, always been the most consistent performer over the years and thought he could cut it at a higher level (no disrespect to colls) must have had clubs sniffing around

He left us about 9 years ago and went to Skem who were higher than us then, he soon realised where his future lay

Definitely got better with age. Not often clubs higher up take a chance on a non league player old than early 20s tbf

Very true and the most now have agents. Some of the money (wages) asked by average players is mad.

Nice journey to South Shields tomorrow with Colls, as Sunderland are away at Wimbledon I'm assuming some of their fans may turn up at Shields, I'll be sure to remind them of the Bolton result
