Wigan 0 Wanderers 1

I'd like to see some statistics on that - I suspect you're wrong.

Muamba has aleays made the odd spectacular fook up with the ball ,but the mistakes are easily outweighed by the good work he does for the team.Last night he constantly broke up Wigan attacks, won all his tackles, picked up the loose balls & played mainly simple accurate passes ,but also did the running & covering for 2/3 men & even became the extra man in attack several times.

With Muamba playing we had some defensive cover & didn't look like conceding a goal every time the opposition had the ball.

ps-being a clumsy twat i wrongly gave you a +,

Find the statistics then. I know what I saw and Muamba putting in a great performance wasn't what I saw. Admittedly, not being used to watching a game played out from behind a goal I may be doing him a disservice but last night he was probably our weakest player, a point highlighted by his woeful finishing and ball control in front of his own supporters!

And thanks for the +:good:

  • and then gave the ball straight back to Wigan! I could have done what he did last night; in fact I'd have fancied my chances of scoring that one that he passed back to Pollitt!

  • sitting at home on a computer and judging those who have bothered   and to all those who post regularly on here and seem to like putting their own team down-   I'm glad I support BWFC and thank

Muamba does usually mess up a few passes per game but i think it often gets over exaggerated by some of our fans who proceed to have a hissy fit whenever it happens. Certain players miss place a pass and nobody utters a word but when Muamba does it all hell breaks loose.

Muamba was dogshit last night. wasted a great chance at nil ni too were he miscontrolled from 6 yards out.

when he miscontrolled again and fell on his arse in front of us summed up his night.

good player but a poor performance from Fabrice.

AS A SIDE ISSUE WHY DO CHANCES IN GAMES ALWAYS FALL TO THE PERSON YOUD LEAST WANT IT TOO?

The last point is definatley bang on! Taylor always seems to get the best chances when he is having a shocker too.

Why, when Muamba gets the ball inside the area, am I the only person shouting "PASS!" whilst all around me are shouting "SHOOOOOOOOT!"?

When the ball hits your head and you're sat in row Z that's Muamba!

Muamba couldn't trap a bag of cement. But by christ he can put a tackle in.

Enjoyed it last neet but our songs are utter fucking dogshit!

It was just like being in a youth club.

And the songs they're singing have been bastardised as well. Streets wide and narrow? It was always broad and narrow when I was standing on the Burnden Terrace.

Bolton Fusilier got a single outing from about three lads behind me. My lad just stared at me for joining in and knowing the words in the same way as when singers resurect an old 70s song and re-release it.

What ever happened to

We don't carry 'ammers.

We don't carry lead

We only carry 'atchets to bury in your head

We are loyal supporters, fanatics every one.

We only hate United and Leeds and Leeds and Leeds <repeat until you're the only one still singing!>

Who's that coming up the hill boys?

The Wanderers are coming up the hill boys.

They all laugh at us, they all mock at us

They all say our days are numbered.

Born to be a Wand'rer Victorious are we

But you'd better hurry up 'cause we're gonna win the cup

For the pride of Division <Next bit needs ammending>

We are the Bolton, the cock o' the North

We all hate Geordies and Munich of course

We only drink Whisky and Newcastle Brown

The bolton boys are in town Na, na, na, nanana na na.<Keep going!>

Undies is going to be pleased. Another song thread!

To be fair, I'm 32 and i've always sung wide and narrow :pardon:

James Yorkton will be tuning in his grave:

In Dublin's Fair City

Where the girls are so pretty

I first set my eyes on sweet Molly Malone

As she wheel'd her wheel barrow

Through streets broad and narrow

Singing "Ian Greaves' Super White Army"

Indeed.

That miss by Muamba was a shocker. I was annoyed but could not help laugh my head off at how poor his control was!

that was caught in two minds if ive ever seen it, take a touch and shoot, or shoot first time. natural goalscorer he is not!

As for muambas finishing what about the 2 quality chances Klasnic had before he scored? He didn't even connect with one of them.

Wheater had a belting game but nearly put the ball past Bogdan.

Mavis and Chungy lost the ball plenty of times trying to be fancy.

Muamba is one of those players people seem to focus only on the negatives about.

the clown behind me 'taylor, you're fcuking shit, get off'

'ermm, taylor is klasnic'

the clown behind me 'taylor, you're fcuking shit, get off'

'ermm, taylor is klasnic'

Did he not come back with the usual retort.

"That miss wss that bad I thought it must have been Taylor"

to be fair, he looked a bit halliwell, so no

So going off the statistics muamba has the 3rd best pass completion rate in our team but he still gets dogs abuse for being shit at passing? Just shows that most our fans dont judge the players off an even keel so to speak!

muamba is also right up the top of the tackling stats

i'd love to see the 'how far they ran' stats if enzo has them?

tbf muambas passing ability is poor. but he knows that, so keeps it simple. hence his high completion rate.

i have no issue with this what-so-ever. he is not in the team to provide defence splitting passes.

unfortunately many of our fans expect him to be xavi fuckin alonso, because he is in ?x a week.

interesting one that

not a pop or a plea for petrov

but i knew his passing, delivery, service (and set peices too) had gone shit

i know he tackles and runs about

i dont think his passing has ever been up to much, but taylor passes are usually crosses or long balls.

hes very direct and doesnt dick about with tippy tappy stuff.

i know for an absolute fact taylor can pass a ball better than muamba, but them stats dont show that.

Aye, it's poor.

Think we're between the devil and the deep blue sea with those two at the minute.

Petrov hardly seized his chance last night, though. Offside about 400 times in the second half, should have scored at least once (not alone, granted), gave us an insight into just why he doesn't defend with a schoolboy error in the first half, and then fucked off down the tunnel the minute the whistle went instead of coming over to pay tribute to his adoring support.

one thing we (me and mates who sit NSL, on line with the left touchline, so right behind him in the 1st half) is that very often, like most of the team to be fair, he does try doing a lot of flick/short passes etc up the line, they aren't direct or long, they just go to no one

considering he's direct his corners and free kicks have been poor

Aye, it's poor.

no, and since my big shouts to get him back in the team (because of taylor's form) when I have seen him, I agree, he's not been up to much - so now it's a case of stick with taylor or give moreno a try on the left, because of his left footed nature

I imagine Petrov will go in the summer so I think Coyle will have to scour long and hard for a good left sider as I wouldn't like to think we'd go with Taylor again next season - or make that bid for Moreno and teach him how to track back
