There's a lot of reason, but a more rational one is:

Since that freak of good fortune when they had that team with beckham scholes giggs et al, they have brought next to nothing through the youth team. Ferguson who along with Blackburn, made the mold for buying success and milking other clubs for their best players. A stat on sky the other week showed that they had bought the 5 or 6 most expensive teenagers in britsh football history! Any 12 yr old can just spend and claim success. Remember flops such a masimo taino, veron etc! Now another "unknown gem" Ashley young on ?100k + a week. At my age I should be mellowing but I detest them more each season.

8.) Thick as fuck fans wearing a green and yellow scarf over the top of the latest shirt and not understanding the irony in doing it
