Hope it is right Tuncay has great ability and he was the best player by a country mile when stoke beat us at there place last season, he got a standing ovation from the Stoke fans, I think he would be very good for us.

Erm it was 'poor'[not poor in a result way, just the long ball stuff] football when we were finishing in the top 6-8 for a few seasons.

 

In Okocha's first season, Bolton played well, well individuals like Jay Jay and Djorkaeff did, but it wasn't result wise better than the years to come, though i think our football style gradually got poorer.

 

However as I've said it was winning football and give me a 1-0 scrappy win over an entertaining draw, Stoke are labelled with negative football, a lot as to do with the long balls and Delap's throws, we we're labelledc with the long balls to Davies etc, but both teams have enjoyed success with these styles, there isn't any problem with me with that, it's just I wouldn't label Tuncay as a Stoke kind of player.

I'd be surprised by this, but if it were possible I think he'd be a great option for us. From what I've seen he's mobile, quick, skilful, and knows where the goal is when he plays up top.

Really hope this is true.
