Sold downing and young but only replaced them with nzogbia. Swapped one good keeper for another.

Skint as fuck bought fuck all.

Sold a few squad players and replaced them with unproven players and one known addition in Riise.

 

Newcastle

Sold good players bought foreign muck end of story.

 

Stoke

Bought a couple of england crocks, pretty similar squad otherwise.

 

Sunderland

Spent a bomb with huge backing. Many of players theyve bought could be flops though and already lost to bitter rivals at home.

 

West brom

Signed Long who looks decent no other real signings of note.

 

Wigan

Sold best outfield player and bought a keeper

 

Wolves

Bought a couple of decent ones in o hara and johnson.

 

Theres nobody above imo who look like they could be miles ahead of us is there? If we get the players weve been linked with we will be at the top end of that bunch like we were last year until the wembley debacle.

What did get my goat was that other Wanderers experts couldn't see through their white tinted specs.

It breaks my heart so see us in this position and I'm not sure how we are going to get out of it.

I still do not think the players we have signed were bad signings we needed the extra bodies unfortunately due to the horrendous run of injuries too many have had to be thrown in at the deep end added to that O.C. has got his team selection wrong on so many occasions that has magnified the situation. I still think that with the correct management and some hard work on the training ground starting with protecting our goal would quickly reap rewards, one area we did not pay enough attention to in the window was up front the non signing of Sturridge has lessened our attacking threat allowing opposition defenders to feel comfortable running the length of the pitch because because we don't offer eough threat up top. Lets see the likes of Swansea,Qpr,Wigan,Newcastle,Villa,Wolves and the rest cope when/if they get 3-4 key players injured.
