I've Seen Some Shite In My Time As A Bwfc Fan

As the title suggests, I've seen some shite in my time as a BWFC fan but this has to be one of the worst I've seen since the early 80's and for those that don't know me I've been watching Bolton since the early 70's.

This is probably the worst collective bunch of players that we've had on the field since those dark days and if it continues, those dark days are just around the corner if not here already. The buck has to stop with the manager, it's his team, it's his selection and it's his motivation (what's that?), that said the players have to take some responsibility but there is not one single player rolling up his sleeves and getting 'stuck' in and fighting for the cause and the right to wear the white shirt.

I hear people bleating on about Lee and Holden being out injured but ffs 2 players don't make a team, they make a difference yes but there are another 9.

Since we have been a regular Premiership club we have had some very good players such as Campo, Djorkaeff, Okocha, Frandsen, Burgson, N'Gotty to name a few but year on year we have failed to replace these players with 'better' or similar and for me that's the failing. To survive in the Premiership you need players of quality throughout the side not players that could just about hold their own in the Championship. Well they will be able to pit their wits against those Championship players sooner than they think, well come next August.

I sincerely hope I'm wrong but we are doomed. My letter to Father Christmas goes like this.."Please Santa can we have a right back and a left back, 2 centre halves as Cahill will be gone a few weeks after you drop down my chimney. While I'm asking, can we have another central midfield player instead of the Warren Joyce one we have now. Sod it I'll be really cheeky, can we also have a right and left winger with another 2 forwards. I don't want much I know but as them busty blondes have never materialised from last few Christmas' so I think you owe me big time."

Disagree for the sake then, I do. :D

No you don't

So every defeat is the fault of robbo?

Utter, utter, utter shite

Is that in answer to me? If so, you might want to read before you type. Or at least, engage your brain to understand the point. If you can.

You said we've got more than enough depth in the squad then you said we need bodies, whilst twice blaming the leftback.

If you're using your brain, I suggest you stop. It's dangerous.

Go back to HW opening comment on this thread, I have been watching since the mid 70's, those days when we took Tatlocks coaches (or coach usually) to away games.

We don't want to go back to those dark days. We do need to remain in the Premiership, whatever happens we need a new team as so many are sh*t or out off contract this season. But, we need a good manager and track record to attract good players, time is running out. Never moaned about Coyle yet but look at WBA away...there must have been two different half time talks...can he motivate?... the team selection changes weekly...we do not know each other on the pitch...mis placed passes...lack of passion...no teamspirit, I'll shut up now!

I think now is the time to part company with our "leader" and invest elsewhere.....sorry Owen we only have 23 games left !!

If we are to have any chance of staying up he has to go Monday morning and a calm experienced and respected man who can motivate and organise this shower of shite, we can survive but changes have to happen NOW. Gartside get the finger out of your arse and gives us a fighting chance.

If there has to be a change i am struggling to think of a replacement and until recently would have shot down any body sugesting peter reid. but having seen him on the box today and because its got to the stage where any reasonable candidate will do , could reidy save us.

Easy commute for him too.

We want Monkey Heed, I said we want Monkey Heed! :D

aye, reidy until end of the season.

dont rate him really, but we need a urgent change

i'll tell ya what we watched some shit yesterday but i watched the sunderland v blackburn game earlier on and both teams were absolutely terrible

they were worse than us could'nt pass 10 yards i only hope blackburn are that bad again on the 20th

In a perfect world reidy would nt get a second thought but needs must and he would jump at the chance and be cheap.

Aye , and gambling & boozing'll be back on the menu :yahoo:

only thing that would bother me about a short term replacement is that he would probably keep the current backroom staff,

and that wont work imo.

i agree...

mike Reid for manager

alwight babe

I'd imagine Owen's rotund brother in law wouldn't stay.

rounaround starts narrr...

Lads, footballs simple really, Coyle the manager tells his first 11 boys what to do,

The keeper should stop shots, fek it just stop it get in the way of it easy....

The defenders defend, stop the opposition shooting or getting past you...

The Midfielders fight like fek for the ball & give it to

The attackers who simply have to hit the target to make the keeper work or if lucky get it past said keeper for a goal...

Simple really so whats going wrong :pardon:

Owen Coyle did not move a muscle or open his mouth to encourage/bollock/praise/organise when we went 1 down on saturday , not a fookin twitch , and the same goes for all his 'coaching' staff , the first time he got up and actually opened his mouth was when we scored - well done mr coyle . you are now past the point of no return , turn lights out on yer way out and take all your 'coaching' staff with you .

people then say 'who we gonna get then ' well really - does it matter because it can not be worse than him , and that is a fact .

You could tell at 2-0 he was just sat there like 'oh shit, what the fuck do i do'.

Apparently Coyle has been taking lessons in tactics from the genius known as Paul Ince.

Worth a punt as next manager?

Really?

There was a game going on but you were sat there watching the bench?

Either you're talking shite or you need to find something better to do with your Saturdays.

When we went 1 down isn't the whole game is it? The game actually takes a break when there is a goal.

I looked over when Villa scored both there goals and he was just sat there.

Lets be honest who as a player do you reckon listens to what the manager shouts on the sideline? There aint much point shouting after the balls gone in anyway because its too late.

What do you think he should do when the opposition score?

I'm not sure, im not a Barclays Premier League manager.

To me it just portrays a bit of, "oh shit, i am so out of my depth, Ive not got a clue what to do"

There aint much point shouting after the balls gone in anyway because its too late

Maybe the point to that one would be to stop it happening again?

To be fair, irrespective of the effect it has on the players, seeing OC sat motionless and seemingly dejected is an obvious and rather sad indictment of his almost acceptance of what was going on

Psychologically, I think it's terrible to see
