December 14, 201114 yr It was shite. But would you rather watch that, or Bolton ??? I would, yes, but then again I'd rather watch a Tory party conference or listen to fishing on the radio than watch Everton
December 14, 201114 yr Never afraid to swim against the tide - I liked This Is England (both film and mini series). Beltin soundtrack for a start.

As you said, great soundtrack. I'll start the new one when I have time. I'd never go off what anewman says.
December 14, 201114 yr Film was superb, first series was superb. What the fuck is wrong with you people?
December 14, 201114 yr *Dives in with Bolty Last nights was really good and the lad that plays Woody is a cracking actor.
December 14, 201114 yr Film - very good First series, a bit slow moving but overall OK and better than all this reality tripe (Masterchef excepted of course ) Second series, started similar to the first....bit slow moving so far...but we did see tits

December 14, 201114 yr *Dives in with Bolty Last nights was really good and the lad that plays Woody is a cracking actor. Joe Gilgun from Chorley, went to college with him. He was in Corronation Street as a kid, the chesney of his day. Good lad by all accounts
December 14, 201114 yr He was (maybe still is, not seen him for years). Used to live at the top of adlington near the bay horse when we were growing up. I enjoyed the film, the last series was good but seriously grim at times, will definitely be watching the new one too

December 14, 201114 yr Really? Adlington all my life and never knew that, thought it was adlington then limbrick, lines are seriously blurred round here though (anderton/Heath charnock/adlington)
December 14, 201114 yr Really? Adlington all my life and never knew that, thought it was adlington then limbrick, lines are seriously blurred round here though (anderton/Heath charnock/adlington) No honestly. It's a bit bizarre as Heath Charnock appears to be wrapped round Adlington. The top of Babylon is Heath Charnock, but the bottom part is Adlington. I admit, it's odd, but it's true.
December 14, 201114 yr My uncle owns the farm (broad oak) on long lane about 400 yards on down on the same side as the bay, and that is heath charnock. The lad you refer to lives or lived in one of the cottages next to it
December 14, 201114 yr Agreed it was a slow start yesterday, as per last series. But that episode tonight was excellent. British TV at its best.
December 15, 201114 yr Agreed it was a slow start yesterday, as per last series. But that episode tonight was excellent. British TV at its best. I agree, last night's episode was rather good. Those visions she has of her dead dad are the creepiest scenes on tv since Chegwin got his cock and balls out on Channel 5. Edited December 15, 201114 yr by Cheese
December 15, 201114 yr Agreed it was a slow start yesterday, as per last series. But that episode tonight was excellent. British TV at its best. I might give it a watch through on catch up then. Do I have to watch the first episode to understand what's going on in the second one - or do they do a re-cap at the beginning of the second episode which'll help me out?
Biggest pile of shit ever
