Wanderers 1 Wolves 1

So we have another one of our BIGGEST games of the season so far coming up so whats the likely outcome, like I said in a previous thread, I think this will be a game where K Davies will dominate, play a tight midfield and I think a result is not out of the question, if OC gets it right I think 2-1, and

You'd already stopped going before this match J. So yesterday's game hasn't swung you one way or the other.

definately made my mind up now, unfortunately I have to go to macclesfield cos paki got me ticket when I was away but thats my last

See you there then.

Anyone remember only drawing at home to WBA? Kicked on for the rest of the season after that.

yea i remember that micky lad also played a team in blue straight after away beat birmingham 2 1 i think nolan scored in the 90 th minute to seal the game

well i have had enough, wasting my weekends on watching shit is comig to an end, also my little lad has lost interest because we can't win, i spend a fortune on him and i on match day and for what???

For love?

As bad as it looks and feels right now we can still get out of it, look at blackburn after we beat them and they were bottom at xmas they could have sunk like a stone but they pick up 4 points from trips to old trafford and anfield. think teams like swansea who have had their good spell will get dragged into it, 37 or 38 points could be enough. we need to get at least 3 new faces in and the players need to up their game and show some fight, to be fair they have in the last 3 games.

missed yesterday

about the 8th home league game in 35 years

could've made the 4 hour roundtrip but couldn't be arsed

in the cold light of day, how did we play

games at blacburn and home to newcastle had odd flickers

was yesterday a step back?

first half wasn't too bad but lacking the deadly touch in th box

second half was fuckin awful, training one and a half times a week is really taking its toll as the players just arent fit enough

that would require us getting 25 points, cant see it

37 or 38 points could be enough.

31 points would have been enough a couple of seasons ago...

Thats well within our grasp.all we need now is the players to believe.

......and Ngog is a complete waste of space.

Ive seen more fight in a snail !!

training one and half times a week. where has that come from ?

before the villa game, they had light training on moday, intense training on the tuesday, day off wednesday, media day thursday and a fun day friday

As a result it's not too bad,

I generally agree with most things you post about the team, but that's bollocks, sorry.

We drew at home to a fellow struggler.

Blackburn won away (at a top 2 team)

Wigan drew away

QPR only lost 1-0 to a top 4 team (much better than we'd do)

Wolves drew away

Swansea drew (v a top 3 team)

Fulham drew away (at a top 5 team)

In perspective: our result was shit.

We didn't lose... Therefore not too bad. A win would have been a good result. A loss, a bad result.

indeed perhaps i should've bolded the 'too'

had we lost to Wolves it would've pulled them away from us even more.

When you're behind: standing still keeps you behind.

Not beating a relegation rival at home is a poor result however you dress it up.

But OC said it was a performance we can build on .............

And it was a game we would probably have lost 2-3 weeks ago .........

So we're actually, in reality, when you weigh things up & put them in perspective, and at the end of the day ......... moving foward.

Well, on Planet Coyle anyway.

4 points from every 3 games left will see us OK

Just about keeping a straight face

And unbeaten in 2012
