sensible answer is I have no recloection, at all, I remember the day Rioch my pals were taking the piss, there no longer pals

I remember reading it in the papers a few days before and thinking bollocks, there is no way he will walk

Found out in the morning, as i was on my brew. Went into Tesco's for a butty front page of The Sun. Think we had Chelsea away the same day by the time the media confirmed it.

At home in shock, the official messageboard had never seen so many online than on that day.

Think I was coolking sunday dinner for the family

my mate rang me and told me the rumours when i was on the train back from chelsea...didn't believe him at all, especially after the second half performance

I was on a long walk, read a Newspaper hoarding saying it, couldn't wait to get home and find out proper, what had gone on.

I was sat on my own, in a pub in Alice Springs watching a cup game on satelite. I desperately tried to engage the locals in conversation about the horror which was unfolding in front of their very eyes, but they didn't seem to care.

Remember we played CHelsea on the Saturday in an early kick off? remember something was wrong, but cant remeber what it was.

I was at the Travel Agents booking an holiday. Was the one up at the Reebok actually, was gonna wait around to see if any press turned up, but didnt bother in the end.

There had been rumours as I recall, but I had always said that he was more Bolton than me and he would never leave.

I remember thinking that this should shake us up. It had been going stale towards the end and although I had a fair idea that we would replace him 'on the cheap' I hoped we would push the boat out. We pushed it out alright, but before anyone was in it. the rest as they say, is history.

I find it hard to believe that the red-tops weren't interested in your trip to Benidorm, mate.

I was in the gym with a mate, he told me big Sam had re-signed as Bolton manager, so I was thinking he had signed a new deal.

Got home and saw the news, was gutted, I'm only 23 now so hadn't know much other than him as a Bolton manager growing up.

I was in Fitsimmons Hotel Bar ( Temple Bar, Dublin ) having a gorgeous pint of the black stuff, watching Sky Sports News announce it on the Cinema sized screen. While some American God Bothering Cheerleaders wearing next to now't were bustin some moves right in front of me, it was all rather surreal.
