OC doesn't know his best formation, if he did he would have played the same as Arsenal and Liverpool. I think he's lost the plot.

Does anyone have any idea why, WHY we have reverted back to a formation that hasnt really worked for us this season and ditched the 4-5-1 that beasted liverpool and ground out a result against arsenal?!

 

Also on the topic of head scratchers, how the fuck is knight still getting a game, he doesnt seem to do anything.

his choice of formation says to me that he expects the higher team's to demand we play 451 but 442 against weaker opponents. He maybe now realises that there are no easy games in the barclays premier league. It isn't just another cliche spouted by coyle after every game.

That was the worst I have witnessed this season - even the larger defeats we shown more.

 

Only Tuncay and Mark Davies can hold there head high - the rest need a serious look at themselves

 

Leaving out Muamba for SKD was the main reason for the defeat but performances where also shocking

 

I am Bolton till I die person and will be back next week at Millwall but our premiership status IS coming to an end

When we had Holden in the team with Muamba last season we could play 4-4-2 but with Mark Davies and NRC we get overrun completely.

 

With whats available at the moment its got to be 4-5-1

I've just back from the game!! 4 hours it took!! After many many trips to and for the reebok, after seeing many heavy defeats never have I felt so frustrated! As it's been pointed coyle is tactically inept, my seven yr old could see the problems, the defending is shocking, no passion! I could go on but I can't be bothered. Rant over!

Half a brain is an exageration for Coyle who I am beginning to think is a retard. It took him half a season to work out his strongest side and best formation to play them. He clearly cannot work out that our midfield is weak, easily overrun and needs five in the middle to hold it together against even the weaker teams in the Premier League.

I am pissed of with his post match interview on GMR when he stooped to blaming specific players ie Wheater for poor defending. He cannot work out the obvious that HE names the side, formation the use and tactics they deploy. Has he not heard the adage about the bad workman blaming his tools?!

Lovely bloke but way out of his depth. The squad is definately good enough to keep us up, unfortunately he is not. How can 20,000 fans know what the formation SHOULD be, but the man who picks the team doesnt. His backroom staff (whoever they are) are just yes men, getting the bigest pay day they will ever get. We can get out of this but it needs changes now - either the manager goes (highly unlikely) or his backroom staff goes and experience is brought in (Peter Reid?). I'm pissed and wouldnt normally write on a forum but today is as bad has it gets for me, and i have been through the worst times as Wanderer. For fcucks sake get it sorted!
