Oh do behave! Riley's played about 3 games and, as much as I rate him, Mavies is still "work in progress". I'd be very, very surprised if either of them make the squad.

I see where you're coming from, but maybe he wants to test out young blood to see who he can possibly take along? In which case it is still a warm-up. I think your point is only valid if he uses all young players and then just takes the tried and tested to the tournament.
