I think it may mean there's no smoke without fire when someone is publicly accused of cheating the inland revenue.

It probably means that Spurs want more compensation than they're willing to pay for Redknapp.

No, he left the job after guiding them through the qualification group to concentrate on his post at Inter Milan (having held both jobs for a couple of months). But he does have good tournament experience with Switzerland.

 

Has managed Djorkaeff (Inter), Jaaskelainen (Finland) and SKD (signed him for Blackburn).
