As a matter of interest what do the "Cracked Flag Repairers" down in the Shires get up to in the winter months?

Actually, for some reason they are digging up massive swathes of the village at the minute and putting in a shit load of drop kerbs, seriously, they must have put about 10 or 12 in up the high street in the last week.

Off to Spain tomorrow hopefully I will miss hurricane Barbara it's been a week of torrential rain and floods south of Alicante forecast mid 60s for the next week that'll have to do was 70s last Christmas.

Was it really worth naming that afternoon of wind and rain?

it was like the end of the world 20 minutes ago

Dug out my garden after last year, carloads of clay dumped at the tip, 3/4 tonne of gravel, just drained straight away (into next door's garden) ????

it was pretty grim here as it came down but went as quick as it arrived
