Fairly certain no one is arsed, but we're still buzzing so I'm telling you all anyway.  We got incredibly lucky, thankfully! Weather was spot on and it properly set the tone for a perfect day, co

The wind is insatiable.

I live quite a way from the coast and honestly have never known it as strong up this way. It's destroyed my garden and the whole street is fucked.

I'm on my way to town and the prom now. Gonna be tasty there if that's bad here :(

Bloody snow may double my journey to work time this morning. May be up to 10 minutes.

Edited by freds dad

Had "heavy snow" in Kent, so folks are working from home.

Wonder what constitutes heavy snow in the badlands of Kent?

Well,I'm off to pick the kids up from their mums in Canterbury and it snowed most of the night. It's not just the north that gets cold, some of those rural places in East Kent on the coast get battered.

Just had a text - the kids school is shut due to the road in the village being closed because of snow.

I only like snow if I'm able to do a long walk in the Countryside.  Driving in it is biz.

Kinell- hundreds being told to evacuate in Lincolnshire, and soldiers deployed. Potential storm surge tomorrow.

Our offices have been given a "severe flood warning" as we're right next to the docks in Yarmouth, apparently about 9 o'clock tonight at high tide, they're expecting the walls to be breached and the entire area flooded  :glare:

The lads in the office have spent most of this afternoon moving a load of stuff from downstairs to upstairs......even though fuck all will probably happen, as we've had an official warning, we've got to do it.

I'd have thought your owner would be moving stuff from upstairs to downstairs so to claim on the Insurance

Had this happen at home in 2007. Lived near a drainage channel that led into the Humber. Normally a small stream suddenly turned into something flooding it banks. Sand bags outside house, move all stuff upstairs etc

Next door got it but we didn't. Short of being broken into flooding must be one of the worst things that can happen to your property

0.5 inches of snow seemed to kill London's transport system today

Big shandy night in it would seem

Honest to God they are shit scared of weather down south. The mere hint of snow and they think the fucking world is coming to an end. Yet they will happily sit in hours of rush hour traffic or shit trains

Course they will, they're only usually going home to a box room in a shared house...

Also the reason they're out in the boozer every night.

I did think about that....

Daft cunts walking on the prom! Make no effort to rescue the fuckers.

I did think about that....

Great Yarmouth on BBC news then, looked a bit choppy

It's 22c in Lanzarote at the mo so looking forward to a bit of Winter sun over the next few days

Well its bloody tedious here; grey as fook. Like having megson, coyle and freedman as your management team...
