Feels like a late spring morning

Just spent £80 on a new winter coat which feels like a waste of money these last few days

Sounds lovely. 37 fucking degrees Celsius here today. 35 tomorrow and then some relief after that (around 25-27 for four days).

 

Not be long til we are in the furnace of late January/early February again.

Not in doubt. What isn't shown, because its so difficult, is the rate of warming and cooling.

 

Weather is breaking records all the time, and years ago people were predicting more extreme weather. Observations tend to support this.

Flooding, wind (tornadoes) and destruction are increasingly commonplace.

This island of ours is already too full, and if these weather extremes carry on our current way of life will end up unsustainable.

This winter wanks all over the last one. We'd had about 12 consecutive storm fronts by this time last year.

Well if you look at the weather for notlob early next week, over night temps are about 3&4c with rain predicted.

 

You only need to drop a couple of degrees and your on. The wind chill could do that, especially if it's coming from the east or north and there's moisture in the air. From the west you might be in trouble as it will be full of salt and shit and probably warmer from the coast.

 

The forecasters don't like predicting snow.

They'll be heading to a feeding ground mate. They tend to spend the night on higher ground where it's safe, then head to where ever their favoured feeding ground is.

 

Keep an eye out tonight and you'll probably see them heading south just after dark.

Latest saying winds could be up to 90 mph in parts.
