Fairly certain no one is arsed, but we're still buzzing so I'm telling you all anyway.  We got incredibly lucky, thankfully! Weather was spot on and it properly set the tone for a perfect day, co

Go Kart Estate

A site agent I worked with lots over the years had a proper nice merc with all the bells and whistles. Slightest bit of snow or ice and I had to go pick him up.

It was fucking hopeless this morning

Could be a long winter.

My golf was right a rain.

I had a Merc automatic a couple of years back, it couldn't make it up even a gentle slope if it was even slightly slushy, totally useless. Nice car though.

This hail is unlike anything I've ever seen in the uk.

It's apocalyptic

It's my fault for having a night out.

Weather is always shit when I go drinking

Merc wanker here couldn't even get off the drive today

Important meeting in Keighley this morning to win a contract back covering the whole of the Bradford area

A year ago the company says "will you take this Merc estate rather than waiting to order a new car?" Being a helpful soul I said yes but said that I'd need snow socks for the tyres just to get off our estate if it snows

After months of wrangling I was told no. Sorry but HR said I'd need to go through a H+S training course on how to fit them properly and if I went through the course then every company car driver with a rear-wheel drive car would also have to go through it. So, sorry, but it's not worth the expense

So today I missed a meeting and the chance to win a big contract back. Sometimes I despair

Soft cunts the lot of you....

Try working in this weather on a 45 degree pitch roof.....

Mine is already useless in 3mm of hail.Could be a long winter.

What the fuck are snow socks? Sounds gayer than a night in with Liberace and a carton of Crisp N Dry

Think gayster gentle love vs S&M and you'll be reet

Chains vs a soft covering

Are you flooded?

Somewhere in south west someone's car is underwater.

Once this shite has finished we are hopefully going to see a cold snap with an easterly/ north wind.

Very unusual to get battered like this from the east.

It was biblical about an hour ago, odd to see horizontal rain coming at the house from the opposite direction than normal. Just retreaved the bin from the middle of the back garden that is now 2" deep in water.

My back gate has just lost a few timbers with that gust about two hours ago.

Had to chain my bins together and then onto the metal gate. All else holding tight.

Are you flooded?

No, but the drains have started backing up, and the river is as high as I've ever seen it. We should be fine though, as the design of the river banks is such as any flood water pours away from us and onto the common......in theory

Good luck. Remember the croal and irwell last year; never seen them that high. Car parts, fridges, pallets as well as the usual trees floating down. And the bridge next to Radcliffe asda has still not been replaced.

Got back from work and our bins were all over the front garden

Girl from work messaged me saying she'd had to abandon her car in stalybridge due to flooding

3 hours from Leeds back to Manc.

Came off the motorway at Saddleworth and dropped down to Oldham thanks to the M62 being blocked

Fuck me that was biblical weather up on the tops. Van in front of me got caught by a gust and slewed all over the road. One of those moments when you're convinced you're about to witness a death

Just gone over 62 heading east. Was like driving inside a washing machine for most of the journey.
