Fairly certain no one is arsed, but we're still buzzing so I'm telling you all anyway.  We got incredibly lucky, thankfully! Weather was spot on and it properly set the tone for a perfect day, co

Never was a statement more accurate. Reckon its siesta time, and do some more later.

Would’ve thought a man of your stature would have air conditioning in the office at home to deal with such eventualities?

Your street drained now?

When it comes to checking forecasts and rainfall radar as far as storms are concerned, Netweather is much better than Met Office/BBC/ whatever app you're using on the phone

Does it do thunder and lightning, like lightning maps in real time?

There is an option for lightning but Lightningmaps.org is far superior for that

Cheers. Be useful to know if/when a downpour is likely to arrive.

I mean, BBC/Met Office are fine for bands of rain 6-24 hrs away, but for things developing on the fly like these thunderstorms are doing I've found Netweather and their radar much more reliable. The others don't update quickly enough.

My car said it was 39 degrees earlier.

My Moisture levels around my bollocks suggest that was an underestimate.

It was hot as fuckery in the Shores earlier, well into the 30s, it's still very warm, but the sky has taken on a sinister grey colour, I think there is some rain about to come, and by the look of the sky, a lot of it

I’ve got a fan, but that’s just blowing hot air at me

Should have got AC installed when we gutted the place

Clouding over

Gonna break

A couple of recent strikes in Westhoughton.

Current storms are where they were this time yesterday. One over Oxford is over a larger area though.

Probably the maddest sky I’ve ever seen over here.

Everything was blood orange.

You mean Tangerine

I’ve had 3 showers today and am considering a 4th.

My neighbour (36C easy, very pretty and an arse you’d eat your own spleen for a go on) is just stood outside in the rain and I’m dying to join her.

Does strange things this weather.

Can't tell whether we're in the firing line of that system that's over Stoke at the moment

was wondering that.

Biblical rain here for the last hour. Couple of flashes, but no rumbles.
