Fairly certain no one is arsed, but we're still buzzing so I'm telling you all anyway.  We got incredibly lucky, thankfully! Weather was spot on and it properly set the tone for a perfect day, co

Pissing down now. Noah just dusted the ark off. Can’t see the houses across the way it’s that heavy. Thundering like fuck but not a flicker of lightening

Just been out with a hound. Air is so heavy, and no wind. Even sounds of cars seem muffled.

Must pour down sooner or later.

It was ok today.

we even sat on the steps and watched the tide come in as my daughter paddled in the water.

Then an empty can of Stella floated past in the water and a very rotund couple with scouse accents had a blazing row and rather spoiled the moment.

Haha you should get up to Cleveleys pal. Much more civilised up that way.

Would’ve been a can of duvvel swishing by :)

We’ve just had a wee bit of lightning. Thunder has stopped but still fucking pissing down

Just been on a bike ride to Bolton and back. Don't think I've ever sweat as much.

There must have been some kind of miniature war on Deane Road where those new restaurants are given the amount of police there was knocking about.

Full light show on here at moment. Spectacular. But on the downside the road down the front near the sea has completely flooded a foot and a half deep minimum by the looks of it and it’s still pouring down.

Whereabouts you at the mo? It has got very humid now here, similar to last nights when we got an epic show of lightening

Just outside Edinburgh pal on the coast. Temperature is lovely and it’s really fresh in the air. Just some sight

Here we go again with the light show looking South towards Cheshire.

Might hit us in an hour or so

Lad from work lives near Market Drayton and he’s just messaged us to say the world is ending.

Just in the garden trying to spot the Perseids Meteor Shower cloud cover has come in, and there are plenty flashes. It’s on its way.

Fucking storm is on its way up the M6 again

Really need it to head North East and clear the air in East Manc. It hit 37C today in the room that I use as an office

I can’t do another day of MS Teams calls naked and sweating. Folk will complain again

Didn't hear anything last night. I wonder if they got delayed between junctions 17 and 19.

Pulled in at sandbach for a 3 course meal and a play on the fruit machines.

And a toot around the very-expensive-but-we've-got-you-captive phone charger shops

Premature send press

The main area of the storm that was battering the midlands veered north eastwards over the Peak District but petered out before reaching Sheffield.

No change, despite some rain last night.

Another fine light show though.

Was obvious it wouldn't have dared go anywhere near Eccles.

Horrible working in this heat

That one last night should be called storm Leeds.Half of them didn't make it to Sheffield for the semi final in 77.Any other opposition and they'd have been all over it.

That walk wasn't pretty. Thought I'd beat the heat somewhat. Nope
