Fairly certain no one is arsed, but we're still buzzing so I'm telling you all anyway.  We got incredibly lucky, thankfully! Weather was spot on and it properly set the tone for a perfect day, co

Lightening maps shows a bit of action north west of Blackpool. That won’t be heading over at it’s a north east wind.

Warm stuff rolling off the pennies and it could go off.

I had a look at a different version earlier. Sounded like a geiger counter.

That bit near you was the one from North Wales, plenty of action at one point. Seems like the Midlands has died down now.

Aye, just looking. Wales getting another bashing.

Poor buggers have had it really bad in places.

That link I put up, one mon took a photo at the perfect moment. Whopper of a lightning bolt.

Mrs Manc set off to Pwllheli this morning with the daughter, grandkids, sister.

Got battered by that storm that rolled up the Bristol Channel and then headed North up the Welsh coast and over Anglesey

There’s a big one battering mid/north Wales at the moment

Please head East!!! Need to clear this fucking humidity and keep this storm geek happy. Not like I’ve been tracking them all day or owt......

getting closer, good light show at the mo

This storm is crackers. Lightning flashes literally every couple of seconds but no thunder at all.

Just fucking wowwwww

Creeping up the Southport.coast and towards Fylde. Just sat outside with a brew but still not much thunder. In fact, not much visible lightening other than the opaque clouds letting a bit of light through. No actual forks of lightening yet.

Oh just fuck off

Its all heading up the coast like a pack of fucking seagulls chasing a pensioner with a bag of chips

Inland ffs!!

clammy as fuck here

I’ve never seen anything like this

just constant lightning

Lightshow over North Wales has been spectacular for the last couple of hours , its calming down a bit now though.

Took long enough to reach Bolton

The one a couple of months back was similar. It was over liverpool and the sea. Couldn't hear any of that one (maybe scousers nicked the sound), just the light show, which is more spectacular when it lights up behind clouds. In't milk brill!

Never known as much lightening but no thunder. Constant flashes directly above for ages then seemed to drift south.

Followed by biblical rain. My gutter caved in, meaning water was pissing out down my window so couldn’t leave it open. Horrendous nights kip.

Must have missed it

It was amazing. Sheet lightning every 5 secs for the best part of an hour, but hardly any thunder. Never seen owt like it.
