Fairly certain no one is arsed, but we're still buzzing so I'm telling you all anyway.  We got incredibly lucky, thankfully! Weather was spot on and it properly set the tone for a perfect day, co

Been more like winter, is that what you mean?

Yes, instead of perpetual autumn

I posted it pre-monsoon

I love my hometown, but I'll take London ladies any day of the week.

Water, we agree on. However, despite tasting like cack, it's oddly better for you down here.

There did seem to be some southern bias over the snow yesterday and this morning.

Even Dan Walker commented about the bbc showing a montage of kids playing in it.

An inch or two and it's a different world.

I think its because most of the country had it over the weekend. That and we're far more important than you lot.

Went sledging with the kids but as ota not snowed in ages, we had to use bodyboards - we weren't the only ones so it shows we we are more likely to get use out of down here.

You're definitely not used to it.

Parts of the North East had plenty, and been doing so far a while. Just get on with things.

I think we have, haven't we?

Anyway there's been bugger all snow here for ages, had all gone by yesterday afternoon, think parts of Surrey stil have some but London desn't. Almost crashed the car on some black ice though this morning.

I hope as a country we never have to get used to it, it really is utter shit. Seems nice for about an hour, then you realise it's just a fucking ball ache, especially when a few days later it's just frozen into ice.

Looking out of my office window now, the road I live on is like a skating rink, fortunately not a single car has been out on it today from any of the houses, it'll be fun if somebody does try it I'd have thought, unless it's one of the Range Rover crew

It was stunning up at our local lodges this morning. Fresh and white, sky a series of lovely blues.

Colours on trees seemed more obvious in the sunlight.

Birds singing and plenty of folk out for exercise and photography.

Everyone seemed happy and chatty, with smiles all round.

Lifts the spirits.

Did here, everyone just doing something normal. Was lovely.
