Fairly certain no one is arsed, but we're still buzzing so I'm telling you all anyway.  We got incredibly lucky, thankfully! Weather was spot on and it properly set the tone for a perfect day, co

Chatty birds too.

Weekend will say otherwise.

Doesn't look like we're getting the snow now though.

Yeah, last night was lovely and really smelt the turning of the season. No heating today apart from the morning for the first time in a good few months

Looks like it's going to be very cold from the weekend onwards, not much snow in Bolton expected though

Last time we had a mainly high pressured, east driven winter we had a fookin belting summer in 2018.

Fingers crossed its the same this year.

Stunning today - warm, clear blue skies.....

Been a belting day. Proper whiff of spring in the air.

...few stings in the tale yet mind. Like Jhmbmmj says things are gonna get a little chilly next week. Doesn't get above 1 degree some days and that's ignoring the windchill 🧊

Mild again this morning here. Going out into Kent for a walk - going to.enjoy this brief respite from dull grey nothingness whilst it's here.

Snowing here.

Snows shit. I want sunshine and beer gardens.

Just watched BBC weather. No newsworthy weather at all outside the South-East but 40mph winds and blizzard conditions are coming to coastal regions between Norfolk and Kent.

Its like their traffic updates

The B8765 between croydon and upper dickwater has delays due to repainting a zebra crossing

The M62 remains closed in both directions

Yeah, turned this afternoon, looks like snow might be on the way.

^^ one i remember from a few years back when it snowed like fuck and took ages to thaw out, so the country just halted , and all the moans about not enough gritting machines , salt ,etc.

i remember it raining inbetween so was slippery as owt, too.

we got ripped to fuck over ther internet by smug americans. " we get this every year and just carry on"

anyway, it changed direction and landed in north america and they got about 8 foot of the shit

were either this

or this

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/February_9–10,_2010_North_American_blizzard

they were connected to these i think

or this

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/February_2009_Great_Britain_and_Ireland_snowfall

i forget which (ten years ago) dates fit because theyre similar , but probably the 2010-2011 one as i think that occured around christmas day

i laughed about that for weeks.

2010

If i understood your post.

I was staying at the Mrs in Salford and had to get to work for a 12-8 shift. No buses because of the snow so ended up walking from lower Broughton to manc city centre... Got to the fucking door of the office building when my boss rang and said they were closing for the day and I'd have to take a day's holiday or work it back.

I'm still RAGIN' now
