If i understood your post. 

I was staying at the Mrs in Salford and had to get to work for a 12-8 shift. No buses because of the snow so ended up walking from lower Broughton to manc city centre... Got to the fucking door of the office building when my boss rang and said they were closing for the day and I'd have to take a day's holiday or work it back.

Two separate crashes / bumps outside my house this afternoon, due to cars not stopping on the icy road. Ridiculous really that they haven’t gritted it, as there is a primary school on the street. One of the cars ended up mounting the pavement.

Been alright here today. Bit cold but nowt much. Weds night supposed to get down to -10 with the windchill and actual minus 4/5 I think 

had a dusting of snow earlier about an inch or so and maybe a bit more forecast for later on. Further north in Perth I think it’s supposed to be pretty bad tomorrow.

West coast around ullapooL had 3 meter snowdrifts on the A82 couple of days ago. Cars had to stop on the road as were unsighted. Couple of hours later the cars were all buried and had to be dug out.

A decent covering of snow here this morning and really bad where some of my mates stay they’re properly snowed in. More forecast for this evening too

Yeah 4wd mate so no issues in that front not that I’ve got anywhere to go anyway!

 

It’s just stopped now actually but we’ve an amber warning until tonight and expecting a load more to fall this afternoon and evening apparently. Ive got a meat delivery coming this afternoon so ok hoping that isn’t compromised as I’m looking forward to a fillet steak tonight
