Fairly certain no one is arsed, but we're still buzzing so I'm telling you all anyway.  We got incredibly lucky, thankfully! Weather was spot on and it properly set the tone for a perfect day, co

Why did you go out when its cold, and not earlier when the sun was shining, and it was warm?

Made up for it today, proper glasses back and the sun blazing again.

What a shite Bank Holiday, never bothered straying out the door today.

Two pubs I frequent have text to say they are not opening / calling it a day today.

I wouldn't have troubled them anyway.

Ventured out...

Ventured back...

Fuck it.

Moonraker is on ITV4 in ten minutes.

Bank Holiday Bond with the Polish Lager I'd foolishly chilled, against my better judgement, on Saturday, after reading posts from the jinxes on here....😡

For good?

The Canary?

Grapes?

I did put the fizz on ice. Idiot. I shall be drinking it warm if we win on Saturday.

EFA.

Somewhat annoyed that the canned Tyskie is now brewed in The Netherlands but still decent enough.

It's when they brew stuff here it starts to go to shit.

R.I.P. Becks.

Bond on and I've invested in it from the beginning.

Half expect him to ply some bird with a spliff though...😀

I don't think Roger Moore wore an out and out syrup like that rubbish Scottish milkman, btw, but he certainly had follicular assistance...

That's how the true romantics do it - only if he's nicked it off Q first though.

Tyskie always give me a proper head in the morning. But maybe that's because I only buy it when already drunk.

My Mrs did the PR on a tour with him, he'd had mild intervention but it looked good - thats where the money goes.

Lovely fella as well. Just joked he was the luckiest bugger on earth.

Took the hound out an hour ago

Even he looked outside and tried to get back in

Rain was bouncing on the pavements

Gets home and the sun's out but tbf it looks like it's getting ready to go again

Spring weather.

Warming up and of week too. Though wet apparently.

"What's Bond doing?"

"I think he's attempting re-entry, sir"

(He was naked, save for sheets, atop his co-star, naked, floating on the Space Shuttle, they were necking).

Don't make films like that anymore.

He'd probably have a cisgender Bond 'girl' nowadays. 😡

And the only baddies allowed would be white middle or working class English blokes. 😡

Roger Moore was the worst bond.

Connery was ok, Dalton massively under rated and Brosnan suffered from poor scripts.

Craig is excellent.

Moore was excellent- a product of his time.

Seems outdated now.

Watching some of the really early stuff seemed outdated when Moore was doing his stuff.

I used to really enjoy the professionals as a youngster- watch them now and they are a bit cack.

All Bond films are ludicrous, Roger Moore pulls it off 'cause he plays it tongue in cheek.

Besides I don't think anyone else has ever carried off a safari suit with such panache.

Didn't Dalton's Bond escape from some baddies sledging in one half of an open cello case..?

With the Bond girl in t'other half?

Saw that one in't pictures.

Maryam D'abo iirc, as if some Welsh cunt could pull her...

No, sorry. Don't panic they were only closing for the day.

I don't know about the Grapes but the Canary has fallen off it's perch.

A nice Roger Moore story

If either shut for good, or in one case has, I couldn't grumble - not been in either in years.

It's fucking cowd and no chance whatsoever of the heating going back on, not in this lifetime (or late-ish October - whichever comes sooner).

I'm thinking of donning woolly gloves, in the house.
